Memes!.... In Other Words.

I tried this elsewhere, and it didn’t work. Hopefully the Dope can pull through for me.

Guess the inspiration for the following:

Imitate my incantation; 'The hind leg thigh meat of a pig!"

And like all memes, copy the idea and add your own after for others to play.

Just to be sure I know what the objective is, does your thing relate to “ham” in some way?

It must.

Something like:

Repeat after me, “Ham!”
Are you using the word “meme” correctly? I’m confused. Meeko, define meme for us.

Exactly what I came up with.

Oh, those wacky /b/tards! So far ahead of the curve!

Joe

Hm. Don’t know that meme. Is it anything like, “A famous wookiee gobbled my nards”?

If this is rewording established internet memes, they should at least show up on knowyourmeme.com when you search for them to be a valid entry.

The totality of your installations are now in our possession.

All you base are belong to us.

Testudines are enjoyable to my being.

I like turtles.
Dearest Brother,

I am writing to you in regards to some disturbing information that I have received of late concerning your intended use of high voltage electricity. It is one thing to administer a non lethal shock to an experimental animal, and quite another to administer it to an immediate family member. I ask that you refrain from visiting such an act upon my person.

Sincerely,
some random douchebag

Don’t taze me, bro!

Feline of the Ivories, I do so request that you assist the exit of our unfortunate soul with a lovely musical interlude.

Play me off, keyboard cat.

Might I trouble you for a ground beef and pressed milk curd sandwich?

I can has cheezburger?

Oh, vexing lodestones. I wonder what mechanism lies behind the physical properties they exhibit.

Guys, I think what Meeko was aiming for was the Invisible Idiot riddle format (so named for an apocryphal tale of a translator who rendered “Out of sight, out of mind” as “invisible idiot”).

It’s a bit like verbal charades–you provide clues that are either equivalent to the target word, or are equivalent to something that sounds like the target word; there can be more than one clue per word. The standard format separates clues that are part of a single word by a comma, with a semicolon between sets of clues for a different word. Generally, you pick a theme for a set of riddles (which you may or may not choose to reveal). In this case the theme is apparently “Memes”, though I’m not familiar with any internet meme that matches Meeko’s clues.

Here’s an easy example:

deep guitar, intended; feline

Fucking magnets - how do they work?

DDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRR…

Joe

I’m guessing that’s “FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU…”

I’m sad that no one has even tried to guess mine. It’s an old one; maybe I’m just an internet fossil.

Chewbacca ate my balls.

The pastry lacks validity.

The cake is a lie.

Let’s see if I can translate an image meme:

Check out this image of butter’s biggest advocate in the history of television bandy about on various other internet meme images while quaffing a fermented grape beverage.

This one may not work so well.

The cake is a lie.
