I am writing to you in regards to some disturbing information that I have received of late concerning your intended use of high voltage electricity. It is one thing to administer a non lethal shock to an experimental animal, and quite another to administer it to an immediate family member. I ask that you refrain from visiting such an act upon my person.
Guys, I think what Meeko was aiming for was the Invisible Idiot riddle format (so named for an apocryphal tale of a translator who rendered “Out of sight, out of mind” as “invisible idiot”).
It’s a bit like verbal charades–you provide clues that are either equivalent to the target word, or are equivalent to something that sounds like the target word; there can be more than one clue per word. The standard format separates clues that are part of a single word by a comma, with a semicolon between sets of clues for a different word. Generally, you pick a theme for a set of riddles (which you may or may not choose to reveal). In this case the theme is apparently “Memes”, though I’m not familiar with any internet meme that matches Meeko’s clues.
