Well, the thing with anal sex is that you have to go about it the right way. It takes a good deal of foreplay and touching to relax properly, and you have to have the right amount of (preferably warmed) lube, all that jazz.
For the man doing the penetrating, it isn’t all THAT much different than vaginal intercourse. The trick is for the recipient, and, of course, it varies from person to person (some women hate receiving oral sex, some love it, some women can’t orgasm from intercourse, some can, some people like anal play, others don’t).
In answer to your question, yes, the prostate stimulation is good. Here is the best way I’ve heard it explained - the prostate is similar to the g-spot. In fact, the g-spot is a gland that would grow to become a prostate in a male. The area is tightly packed with nerves, and some massaging is very pleasurable. Like the g-spot, it isn’t the easiest thing in the world to reach with a straight device like a penis - your best bet is something that curves and is about 3-4 inches long.
OK, so in review… we have a great amount of paranoia/disgust for it being a dirty place where poopy comes out of, and most of those wouldn’t be interested in anal sex with a woman either. Virtually everyone who knows what a decent prostate massage feels like seems to be of the opinion that it is worth it, while those who don’t are more inclined to question the power of the little guy. We’ve had a minimal amount of “that’s for gays and I’m not gay” and one or two comments about pain or discomfort.
Um, I’m curious. First, I assume you’re perhaps a woman. Second, I take it you’ve had and enjoyed being the tasty middle of a sandwich o’ love. Third, I’m guessing “airtight” somehow is a reference to triple-penetration.
I am “in the know” and I know, from the several times I’ve done it, it does hurt. I just don’t like it (I’m a woman, BTW), so the pain excuse seems like a valid enough excuse to me. I’m okay with stimulation, and, TMI!, I like to use a plug, but the in-and-out hurts.
But, for the record, my SO likes prostate stlimuation during a blowjob, and other times as well. And he’s not gay, and knows for sure (in the don’t knock it if ya haven’t tried it sense.)
My ex-wife preferred anal sex at times. Bad thing was she felt “satisfied” and didn’t much want sex for a few days after. I enjoy “being the pitcher” quite a bit, and I also enjoy anal stimulation myself (toys). With lube and relaxation, it is not painful in the least, and a little shit ain’t gonna scare me away. I am straight, but do not get “icky” over another man’s ass, nor do I think homosexual anal sex is a bad thing.
Forum: Great Debates Report Bad Post
Logged in as Milum Message:
Are the salient fine details and physical niceties of raw hardcore homosexual sex, namely buttfucking and sucking one another’s dick, a fit subject for the Great Debates Forum?

Moderator’s Note:Milum, if you feel a post or a thread needs to be reported, report it. Don’t play games about it. Also, if you feel a thread is inappropriate for Great Debates, you don’t have to post to it, or even read it. Finally, references to “buttfucking” and “sucking one another’s dick” don’t exactly raise the tone of a thread about human sexuality.
That’s cheery, thanks. I do believe I specifically mentioned that this thread is not limited to anal sex, but to all forms of anal play - between man and man, or man and woman. You may not believe it, but many people experience sex beyond blindfolding themselves and having someone wearing thick gloves insert their penis into a vagina soley for the purpose of procreation.
Thanks to everyone for your replies. I am still curious about how most people approach this issue, and I still believe that a good dosage of education would be nice for a lot of people to get as much pleasure as they can. Not to say that anyone should do anything they don’t want to, of course.
I disagree. I’ve found that anal intercourse (from the “penetrator’s” pov) is quite different than vaginal.
Probably TMI, but: the latter felt like a simple canal, while the former is more soft, squishy, pillowy, etc.
I’ve never experienced proper “receiving”, but I give you kudos for starting this thread. Many people may not know of the prostate gland, and may even “give it a go” based on the info you’ve given. Plus you might dissuade folks from the “anal=gay” canard.
That being said, I probably won’t be “receiving” anytime soon, based on two things: When it was “tried” on me before (with a finger), I found it very uncomfortable. And also the hygiene factor “put me off”.
But let me put forth one other possibility you may not have considered: I once knew a girl who was with a guy who loved it. And this made her highly uncomfortable and uneasy…simply because she (like many) associated anal with homosexuality.
So I guess my point is that (a) many guys may think their girlfriends will freak out and think they’re gay, and (b) it’s not just the guys who need to rethink their stance on the issue.
But again, good on you for getting down to the, er, bottom of this…
I have to agree. A woman’s butt is wider than a man’s, and straight men are hard-wired to be sexually aroused by it. In fact, that brings up a blatant hijack: I cannot tell you how much I am against the latest fashion of women trying to cram their butts into pants that are 3 sizes too small, and pulling their pants down so the waistline is at the hip level. In effect it makes their asses look like men’s asses, and it looks horrible to me. A woman’s body is a beautiful thing - why are they trying to disguise it? What’s next - wrapping an ace bandage around your breasts?
Part of the reason anal was less satisfying for me was the… <searching for words> lack of tone beyond the anal sphincter. Yeah, the pucker lives up to its name, but I just felt like I vanished beyond that into a warm, wet semi-void, once fully inside. Most sensation is felt in the glans area of the penis (for me, at least), so having the base of the shaft squeezed while the head is floating in mooshy space isn’t really, IMO, the best way to go. A reasonably tight vagina seems to have some texture, and can really put the squeeze on where it counts, esp. during orgasm, when the whole thing does this kinda wild contracting stuff. I dunno, maybe some kind of peristaltic skill can be developed to make the back passage more agile, but neither myself nor my partner has had a strong interest in cultivating such talents.
Wow - I have exactly the opposite reaction. At least I do if the pants are designed to be worn with the waistband low. I refer to “hiphugger” jeans, not “regular” jeans that have been pushed down. True “hiphugger” jeans will still hug a girl’s ass nicely. And I find that the horizontal line created by the waistband crossing the hips actually accentuates the hips and makes them look a bit wider. Handy if the girl is a bit too skinny
Well I don’t personally know any straight men who like it. And really, I’m referring more to the women who, as I said, cram their butt into pants that are too small, so they’re literally bulging out over the waistband. Yuck! The style I’m referring to definitely makes it look like the women don’t have any hips.
Dopers are a bit more mature than the average public Joe, so any survey here is going to be off. Based on my experience (just talking about it) most guys (at least those 18-29) avoid women touching their butts because of fear of being gay or fear that it will hurt (although they never come out and say it).
As for straight anal sex, I enjoyed it more than my now-ex-boyfriend did. I had to request it every time. Maybe we just used a lot of lube and were very well prepared, but I found that my first time with anal was easier than my first time with vaginal. Then again, my boyfriend was not well endowed and I can imagine it would be more difficult with someone who was. I enjoyed vaginal sex vastly more, but the first time we had a mutual orgasm was during anal.
Would women naturally have an urge to use strap on’s and penetrate people ? Seems no. Some might… most won’t. I suppose men think the same way… I myself love sticking my thingy into holes… females only though.
I’ve done an exam (a finger or two ) and it wasn’t fun… nor did it hurt me or my masculinity.
