I dislike these types of exams equally whether the health care provider is a man or a woman.
I’ve had a couple of great female docs who I trusted implicitly. However, when it came time for my vasectomy I requested a male doctor.
The reason why wasn’t because I minded her seeing my “good parts.” It was because she was fairly attractive and I was worried she might think I had ulterior motives. I would also have been fine with a women I’d never met before.
I’ve avoided that kind of thing when possible.
The problem is, female medical doctors are the kind of women I find attractive: smart, educated. And when I’m taking my pants of, it forces me to confront the fact that they regard sticking a object up my ass as just a medical procedure.
I’m not a strong person, and I’m better off avoiding things that make me feel sad and helpless. There are plenty of doctors to choose from, and plenty of people who prefer female doctors.
