There are many things worse than being flirted, being totally ignored for one. I don’t understand why people get offended when someone compliments them. I’m hetero but I can still appreciate a beautiful person regardless of their sexuality.

Beauty comes in shapes, sizes and ages. I want to know where is the love for a 40 something woman?

I had the same thoughts when I saw wmulax93’s photos. I didn’t know if it would be okay to tell a straight guy how hot I thought he was, so I didn’t. I decided it’s be a thought I’d take to my grave and only, maybe, share with 1 or 2 of my closest friends, and never tell him. He’ll never know how cute I think he is, because you can’t tell a straight guy that, especially over the internet. So I won’t.

Not to make this even remotely pittish but my cat didn’t “pass on” in the natural sense. During my first year of lawschool he came close to being hit by a motorcycle and we think he died of fright. My parents didn’t tell me during the semester b/c they knew how pissed I would be and I was always the strongest advocate of keeping him indoors. We still feel incredibly guilty about it.

Now we allow our kitties (3) to lounge by the pool (we have a well-fenced in yard at our new house and it’s in a quiet cul-de-sac in the forest) but that’s about it. My parents learned their lesson-they took Babu’s death pretty hard. Guilt and 20/20 hindsight, I guess.

I know this is ridiculous but when my parents moved out of the house I spent my adolescence in the thing my sis and I were most upset about was leaving Babu’s body behind but thankfully the new owner is the daughter of my highschool English teacher (who had both me and my sis and loved us) and my old teacher and his daughter promised that they would never dig him up or the rose plant over him.
