She isn’t running for re-election because she almost lost last time and things looked even worse for her this time. If the seat goes to a more sane Republican, that’s a tiny improvement but still one worth applauding. She is the queen of batshit crazy.

No, I think there was probably criminality involved. I just don’t think Bachmann was brought in on it.
I think some political crooks just chose Bachmann to be their front because she’s a charismatic dimwit who could get elected and would do what she was told without asking questions. So the guys in the back room ran things, collected whatever money a Congressional office can gather, told Bachmann how to vote, and saw no reason to cut her in on their action.

Michelle Bachmann is not being controlled by other people for their own gain. She’s doing her own damned thing and she is responsible for her campaign and her decisions.

It’s not a sexism thing. I just have a hard time believing any organization can exist and function with Michele Bachmann as the brains of the outfit.
This is one of the nicest compliments anyone has ever given Michele Bachmann, perhaps unsurprisingly.
If so, it was unintentional. I’ve known a lot of criminals and trust me, saying somebody is too dumb to be a criminal is no compliment.

And remember, and this is important, it had NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with all the investigations swirling around her.
That is what I thought when I heard.
She didn’t get 100% of the vote.
I didn’t vote for her, and I am wonderful.

I can say I’m displeased.
Considering her margin of victory in 2012, I figured her 2014 run to be the most likely scenario for flipping the district blue (even if only for a single session).
I’ll take a 100% chance of no more Michelle Bachman even if it means we don’t flip the seat than a 50% chance of flipping the seat or her getting another term. The woman makes the country worse just by existing, this is great news.
