Mick Jagger refuses to give up his hotel suite for GWB

Winner!

In all likehood, you’d still have been kicked out of your room, the hotel cancelling your reservation. Actually, you’d probably have been kicked out too if Mick Jagger wanted the room.

Ummmm, yeah. You just figured that out?

And I’d never go back to that hotel again. That’s really shitty.

And of coures, there’s the old Dilbert strip wherein he tries the “well, give me HIS room, then” line, and unbeknownst to him, the Pope is standing right behind…

But yeah, any of us commoners would have been just kicked out – then again, the only reason the Hotel asked the Stones nicely is because, well, after 12:01 EST on Jan. 20 2009, they will still be someone to reckon with. George will be just some guy who likes to chainsaw sagebrush…

Why does Mick Jagger hate our freedom?

Heh. Wonder what city the Stones are in next. Real estate prices may very well become very affordable.

Mick should give up the room, but make sure the groupies hide out there.

And the photographers.

“Oh! I though you meant you were the president of the hotel.”

This, my friend, is priceless…

Update: the story is not true.

Well , the story was published in the Sun (one of Murdock’s organs) . This paper is notorious for stories which later turn out not to be true.

So, is any of the story true? The only contradiction seems to be whether the hotel asked Mick Jagger to give up the room, or decided on their own to honor Mick Jagger’s reservation and refuse Bush’s.

From the story, it’s not clear Bush ever wanted the suite in the first place.

He was.

But if the OP’s story had been true, then I would have fully supported Sir Mick.
