I’ll do my best to play my part - but my boiler just packed up.
I can cope, but getting my heating back is my top priority!

At some point today I post the first two rounds.
glee, good luck on the boiler. When is the repair company expected?
Best of luck on the boiler!
My week finally settled down so I have time today to pay attention properly again.
Fortunately I have an excellent local company. They were round within an hour to diagnose the problem and hope to fix it within a few days.
Apparently there’s quite a few plumbing problems in my area…
P.S. I foolishly let my servicing lapse after a few years - I advise you all to have your boiler checked annually.
P.P.S A portable room heater is keeping me cosy (another recommendation!)
Glad to her things are happening.
For my part, I’ll be busy for most of the rest of the day. I’ll not be able to check the thread for the next eight hours or so (give or take a bit). I’ve already posted first round actions. I’ll use my reaction to protect myself from an attack, and remember that I am Lucky. I will use Bountiful Luck to protect a party member from the consequences of failing a save if necessary.
I usually can fix the boiler myself and our back up is a wood stove.
Also a good day to run the oven on self-cleaning if your oven has that option.
Next house is a gas forced air unit and no woodstove, so that will be a new dynamic.
My current house has gas heat, it’s the best thing ever. My last two places were radiator heat, it’s so nice to just have the room temp be what you want it to be.
I grew up with Gas Force Air Heating. One of my restrictions this time for house hunting was had to be gas, had to be city water & sewer.
Steam heat for us. Works pretty well.
My plumbers are keeping me posted and parts are on order.
(It’s just a small point, but here in England there are legal rules on who can repair / service gas boilers…)
In the adventure (exciting times!), Ghan has chosen two concentration spells (so if I am distracted by plumbers, my character is still helping!)
If a party member is badly injured and Ghan is in range to help, he will drop the Wolf Pack and cast Healing Spirit (with Bear Totem)
For Round 2 I set the stage and gave distances. Probably want someone to go help Ceol as another group is coming down on him.
Party needs to consider what to do with the 5 sleeping Uruks also at some point.
I should have posted this last night, sorry about that.
Let me make sure I understand the field of play.
Thoroncir Bitur and Gwaelur are with the sleeping/Urks and have 6 more about 25 feet from them coming to fight. Gwaelur is down to “mearly mortal” numbers of hit points but otherwise Bitur and Thoroncir are fine.
Ceol is alone with about 6 Urks getting ready to pounce and 4 already fighting and is too far from the three of us to help in any meaningful way?
Where is the rest of the party in relation to Ceol who needs serious help asap?
Also, where are the Hunter killers? Dead? I’ve lost track of them.
The archers appear to be 4 Hunter kills & 4 fairly normal ineffective Long Bow using Uruk-Hai. So 340’ up slope.
Your spellcasters are about 30’ below you on the slope. (Ghan, Gilraen & Hejren)
Hunter Killers are skilled Uruk-Hai with Sharpshooter Feat. They’re very dangerous and the elite of Orcs basically.
Ceol is not that far away, you can fly 60’ and attack or Thoroncir could ride over easily. He can take Felareth & optional Bitur with him. Ceol is only 45’.
Ah OK, I thought Ceol was much further than that. This is why I asked.
Ok let’s send Gwaelur to Ceol’s aid. Thoroncir should have the Urks heading to us handled.
Round 2 is up including injury updates and distance to Archers.
Reminder to Gwaelur & Thoroncir, you can sacrifice your Bonus action for Second Wind : 1/rest, Bonus action give back d10+level Hit Points.
Gwaelur is absolute doom in close combat, though far less mobile usually than the 2 knights. The Fly with Gwaelur is scary. Expect the Hunter killers to try and end you though if you head towards them. Make sure you go to shield in hand.
In this next round let’s get a second wind.
Makes sense for Thoroncir, too. Thanks.
Ghan is indeed happy for his animal friends to dispatch Orcs.
Once the Sharpshooters have dispatched his Wolf Pack (at least they are not shooting at the party!), Ghan will cast Healing Spirit with a Bear Totem.
Ghan is also continuing to concentrate on Call Lightning.
