Really, the Vikings only escaped an inevitable playoff trouncing by the Rams or Eagles. As for the Packers, they deserve a playoff berth more than the Vikings based on the way they played the last few weeks. They’ll beat the Seahawks and lose in the divisional round.
Of course I’m sorry for Brett’s loss, but I’ll find the sentimental commentary in every playoff game about his father tiresome and I’ll be glad when they’re out of it.
If there is a Carolina-St. Louis game, I’ll pick that game for the inevitable NFC playoff upset.
I’m rooting for the Iggles. Yeah, the Iggles. Go McNabb. Win the Superbowl and Superbowl MVP. Make Rush look like an idiot… oh, wait… too late for that, he was exposed years ago by himself.
The Gophers-Ducks Sun Bowl game was the most entertaining I’ve seen in a while. Rodents 31, Quackers 30.

I am a diehard Vikes fan, but here’s the deal:
The refs calling a pushout on the TD call may have ultimately been the incorrect call, but it was not a BAD call. If Denard “shutdown corner” Walker had played defense like he gets paid to do, maybe even tried playing the ball for a change, the ref wouldn’t have to make that call. Personally, I don’t think the receiver would havebeen in bounds anyway, BUT when you push the receiver at that point the ref has no choice but to make that call. So don’t bitch at the refs, bitch att the player who blew the play.
I don’t think Tice deserved to be fired, but if doesn’t get some more discipline on this team, especially regarding penalties (listen up Mike “false start” Rosenthal), then this team will never be anything, and subsequently neither will Tice.
Oh, and I hate the Packers as much as any good Vikes fan, but the Pack will DESTROY Seattle this weekend.
Oh well, time to watch the NBA- KG 4 MVP!!!

I hate to see Coach Mac leave. Things would have turned with him finally having a GM who was getting the purse strings loosened. I am exceptionally pissed they got rid of OC Sullivan. He is one of the best WR coaches in the league.
I fear Fassel will coach the cards next year. I do not much care for Green as coach but, he is much better than Fassel IMHO.
The Cards Defense has been crap for to long Both of these coaches are not going to get this fixed.
