Miss Kaitlyn's first day in the classroom.

I think this is the longest not-in-progress thread I’ve ever read. Suffice it to say it was fascinating. Before this thread I only knew you as a transsexual lesbian, but now I know you as a strong, intelligent, and - most importantly - hilarious TG lesbian!

Oh yea, and your Principal is fucking cool.

It’s a riveting thread. Kaitlyn, to achieve what you have achieved, just wow. And in Texas no less. I don’t know why those students or their parents suspected anything, because it is certainly not obvious from your pictures. I’m sooo happy for you.

Well, it’s in progress now.

:smack: TS.

TS is correct, isn’t it? I checked Webster.

TG=transgender. Transgender is a catchall for anything that falls outside of normal gender boundries. Crossdressers, effeminate males, and tomboys might be called transgender.

TS=Transsexual. A transsexual is a person whose internal gender, or brain sex, is at odds with their physical sex and who seeks reassignment to correct the problem. Transsexualism is not an extreme form of transvestism regardless of what many web sites would have you believe. They’re separate conditions that often share some forms of expression.

So yes, I’m a TS lesbian, but mostly I’d just prefer to be thought of as a woman.

Hey, Kaitlyn, how’s the graphic novels coming along? Any opinions so far?

I don’t get made by strangers. One of the moms connected my name to the name I used at my previous school before I was terminated. There aren’t a lot of Asians with my maiden name, which I still use for work.

How dare you post a comic book question in a thread not specifically dedicated to comic books! Have you no shame?

Transmetropolitan was a lot of fun. An inch deep and a mile wide, but still lot’s of fun. Swamp Thing is very good, but I think it’s going to take another reading to really “get” it. It wasn’t until my third time through V: For Vendetta that I got what Moore was getting at there.

Apokalipstick is on my short list of the greatest titles for anything ever. (Frankenhooker is #1).

I’d like to add my voice to the chorus of approval for your and Mr. P.
It is wonderful to see him dealing with bigoted ignorance by using diplomacy to make the fools feel foolish.

Now then class, what is the important thing to ask Miss Kaitlyn?

No, Johnny, not where she comes from.
That’s right, Sally, it’s not whether she’s a boy or a girl.
Yes, Sue, it’s whether she’s a good teacher?!
