Judging from the lack of MF threads this season I may be the only one still watching, but if not I’m wondering if anyone else noticed the near-beaver shot in Wednesday’s episode.
Jay and Gloria are sitting in the stands during Manny’s football game, and just over Jay’s left shoulder there’s a woman sitting on the bleacher behind him- between him & Gloria- in a skirt. Every time the camera is on the two of them, she has her legs spread enough that you can see up her thighs, but not so far that you see underwear (or anything else).
My wife and I were really surprised that nobody behind the camera asked her to cross her legs, or angle them somehow.
As for the episode, it was like all other so far this season- eh. This show seems to have lost some of its luster.
Yeah I’ve noticed these first few episodes don’t have me laughing very much. They seem to be relying on more slapstick comedy so far this season. And I have cringed a few times at the love-conquers-all messages.
I know a lot of people feel it’s lost some of its lustre but I still find it as entertaining as ever.
I didn’t catch the first half of the ep so didn’t see the crotch shot, but yeah, that does sound weird.
The scenes with Phil and Luke editing the video were hilarious and the way Phil’s dilemma ended up being solved was very cute and clever, IMO.
Does it seem to anyone else that Alex’s screen time / story line is getting less and less? It also feels like the character is getting, I don’t know, kind of surly, though I’ve heard actress Ariel Winter has been going through some family drama do maybe that’s what’s coming through.
