Well forgive me for thinking their zesty performances deserve praise.
I thought this was one of the best episodes since the birthday party/clown. The Cam/Mitchel story was a little weak.
The 3 kids were great - Alex washing her eyes and screaming “I can still see them!”. And poor Phil - I’m surprised the short scene at the end wasn’t him going through Claire’s deleted email and seeing the actual message.
Agreed they’re having a tough time working Cam & Mitch into plots. They need more Jay & Cam interaction.
So … that scene happened pretty fast … were they doing it doggy style?

I picked the absolute wrong episode to introduce Modern Family to my in-laws.
I was really expecting the closing part would have Claire undeleting the email to sneak a peek at naked Gloria.
Mmm, cupcakes.
“We were watching a particularly racy episode of Hart to Hart…”
Come to think of it they still think Gloria was offering to have sex with them, don’t they? 
No, Gloria and Jay cleared up that misunderstanding.
“Whatever they were doing, it looked like dad was winning.”
“now 40%”
Best line of the night.
I just want to say that I think Claire is just drop dead gorgeous.
Simply one of the best episodes. Hilarious.

They usually are. They can be funny, but work better interacting with the other characters instead of in their own little b-plots.
