i think they’ve been pretty mindful of toning down the doofus this season, and overall. he’s orders of magnitude more toned down than michael scott
You’re right, they just look so much alike, I always confuse them.
I remember there was an episode where they got the dog but I can’t remember the details of how or why. Can somebody jog my memory?
Gloria wanted Jay to help the dog’s owner with his business idea - “Good Dog” and “Bad Dog” treats. Jay told the guy it was the worst idea ever, and he decided to go back to school or something, so he couldn’t keep the dog. Gloria wanted to keep it, Jay was going to bring it back to the guy, and it’s a bulldog, so of course he couldn’t get rid of it. Ta-da, they have an adorable dog.
I thought it was a decent episode. It certainly made me LOL several times. Being one of the best shows on television, even a decent episode of Modern Family is still 100% more watcheable than almost anything else.
Jeeze, that sounds like something a Doper would brag about.
