If you can, talk about anything and everything; apologize for misbehaving when you were 5. Forgive her for any fights/disagreements you’ve ever had. Even if you know she’s forgiven you & knows you forgive her, try to get it out & get it said while she’s with you…

We lost my mother’s father very suddenly last April, I feel for your situation.
Like others have said, keep talking to her. She must have had so many worries in the past few months, trying to keep the bad news from bringing everyone down.

It’s sad that she hid it from everyone, so it’s coming as a huge shock, but forgive her because as you said she was being a good mom and not wanting you all to worry about her. {{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}} (I lost my Mom to ovarian cancer in 2003)
