Three weeks to go. Itinerary looks like this so far:
Drinks Friday evening for those in town - dunno where. SUGGESTIONS?!? I’m assuming people don’t necessarily want to go back to Drugstore, even though I wouldn’t mind.
Poutine tasting, Saturday at noon, at La Belle Province near Atwater market. Less of a hole than Lafleur’s on St-Denis.
Saturday afternoon activity: I dunno. SUGGESTIONS?!?
Saturday dinner at Mazurka (cheap Polish food) at 8 PM, followed by whatever… some karaoke at Club Date, or maybe a bad drag show at L’Entre-Peaux.
Sunday brunch: I’d really like to go to Mövenpick. I really enjoyed brunch there when I was at Tordope.
Possible Sunday dinner for those who want.
Once everything’s firm, I’ll take care of reservations, etc. I still have the SDMB sign from Doperéal. It survived my having spilled an entire glass of beer on it at Drugstore. :eek:
I think Drugstore is a good choice for Friday night again. There are enough floors that it’s difficult to get bored of that place.
Saturday afternoon, IMAX in the Old Port might not be a bad idea. and I like scott evil’s idea of brunch on Sunday morning.

Just gotta say… I have had a great night tonight… it’s 3:38 according to the clock on my computer. One of my very best friends is moving to NYC tomorrow morning. I’m so looking forward to this Dopefest… it should be great.

As for the official PoutineDope itinerary, I’ll be posting it by the end of this week, once I have a rough head count and have made the reservations for Saturday dinner and Sunday brunch. I’ll include addresses, directions, contact phone numbers, etc., but matt_mcl will no doubt try and steal my thunder (again) by making up little sheets with maps etc. to give to everyone ::d&r::

Oh oh oh! Only two weekends away. A long deserved and anticipated vacation (if only a 24 hour one. Damn commitments and responsibility!).
Of course, the real question from us rural-type folks who ain’t used to the bright lights of the city (“geee maw, I didn’t know they made buildin’s that done got taller than the barn out back.”), is what to wear for the evening’s festivities. (What I want to know is, if I wear denim and flannel to wherever we’re going Saturday night, am I going to be horribly self conscious the whole time?)
