I want to make it clear that while there may (or may not, at this point) be some homosexuality-related activities, people from all walks of life are welcome.
The date that was decided upon in the last thread is, well, next weekend. I don’t think anyone has made plans.
So! I know some people have expressed interest in driving up, and I really want to meet all of you!
Our date options are:
Sometime in July. Maybe not that convenient 'cause it’s soon, and TO dope is happening 13-14.
August - possible, but I’m out of town from the 5th to the 22th so someone else would have to organize it and I wouldn’t be there
Late August/early September: This is sounding best to me. If we could manage to fit it in between the time all the summer activities are over and before school starts (or, before school stress starts, anyway) it’d be great.
So, what do you guys think? How does late August sound?
matt, while I’d try to swing it, organizing, or even attending a Dopefest on th 4th when I’m leaving the 5th would be problematic. If that’s really the best time for you, however…

I can be there, so long as I have enough warning to make sure I book time off at the training hall (and find another dog handler/trainer to keep the pups for a day or two)…

OK I’ve already accepted one person to stay with me. That means I have three other spaces max. In total, there are two on the living room floor (with sleeping bags - I make no guarantee for your comfort), one on the couch, and one (hopefully male) to share my bed with me (I’ll wrap my hands in Tensor bandages if need be). It’ll be tight, but it should be fun. Bear in mind it’s not a bloody bed & breakfast, so I’ll need some help here.
Given I now have a couple of months, I can work on some other Queer Dopers… hehehe.
Well, should my financial situation right itself, I’ll be there. Lord knows I can’t make June 22. I think if I did that I would be homeless after July 22, and that’s not a good thing:(
