More Muslim Marvelousnous

As in they are a “mental product”, as in a metaphor.

No. The USA Patriot Act wouldn’t have been approved absent 9/11, but 9/11 did not cause the USA Patriot Act. The power to suppress individual rights was something desired by the radical right since way before 9/11. That just provided an excuse, and also cowed the Democrats into rolling over for it. Though usually a mild breeze is enough to do that.

You might take a look at the various Muslim atrocities against Christians and Hindus, such as the general slaughter following the conquest of Byzantium and burning Hindus alive in their own temples, before making that judgment. The evils you’re talking about are in no way unique or unusual to Christians, and your post shows a great deal of prejudice against Christians.

Religions have not generally been nice to other religions throughout history, period. The Jews have probably got the worst end of it as they’ve lacked the numbers and political clout to do much damage to others until recently, but yeah, they all pretty much have been killing each other gruesomely for millennia.

I know all about the Crusades and the Inquisition, and atrocities done by one religion in the name of another religion. The evils of yesterday do not make it okay for any given religion to have a pass in evilness in this day and age and/or commit atrocities of one kind or another.

The LDS just a couple of hundred years ago committed the Meadow Mountain Massacre. No religion has an unblemished history of committing atrocities, except maybe “Dianetics”, which is a relatively new religion and is free of atrocities, per se, owing to it’s relative newness.

Jews have the numbers, weapons and clout, but choose not to use them. They have their own problems and fragilities that all religions seem to have.

The atrocities to be ascribed to Scientology are a whole other messageboard’s worth of discussion.

Get thee behind me, Thetan!

Indeed, I’d love to know the “straight dope” on Scientology. If there is such a thing, eh?

You truly are a moron. Some LDS, and certainly not a majority of the church membership at the time, committed that atrocity. And, get this, there was a trial and punishment, too.

Now, we return you to your previously scheduled ignorant, bigoted, stupid rant-o’-the-week, brought to you by AshenLady.

If only there were a search function whereby you could find things that have been said here about it.

LDS were guilty as sin for this astrocity and the LDS won’t own up to it, not even now.

Again, you truly are a moron. You constantly equate the actions of a few with those of the entire group. That is wrong. And it’s pure prejudice.

Monty, seriously, you’re wasting your time. Either she’s a troll or she’s literally retarded. Regardless, there’s no point in trying to debate with her: either she won’t comprehend it or she’ll ignore it.

Every religion has it’s problem and LDS has it’s own. No religion is perfect, no even yours.

Everyone cries when their religion gets pointed out as having its own dirty laundry. Every religion has it’s dirty laundry and some more than others and some worse than others.

Good luck airing my religion’s dirty laundry, you fucking trolltard. Seeing as, uh, I don’t have one.

Where did I say my religion is perfect, you bigot?

By the way, here’s your second baby step: The possessive form of it is its.

Shot From Guns: I’m sure you’re correct; however, I feel the need to point out her errors to prevent others from buying into her stupidity. Yes, I do like windmills. Why do you ask?

Ijit doucheface.

Oh, another English Professor 101…it is not likely.
