When my brother got married for the first…maybe the second…no, I think it may have been the first, because it absolutely wasn’ the third time, or the second time, but was most likely the first time, he asked our mother (who attended that wedding) at the reception if they could open the envelopes because he needed the cash to pay the DJ.
I wasn’t invited to that wedding, nor the second and sure as hell not the third. I’m waiting for Divorce #3 to see how long Wedding #4 will take.

Neither did we. I think the garter belt thing is very gauche. We did toss the bouquet, however, which was just funny because the only single girl there was my sister who had been trying to drag her boyfriend to the altar for years. She was a very good sport about it.
