Most addictive food ever!

My boss just came back from Costa Rica with the most addictive (legal) substance I’ve ever encountered. I swear I can’t eat just one of these things.
Chocolate-covered coffe beans!
Yes, I know it sounds disgusting but these are not your average coffee beans. They are very mild in flavor and the chocolate is exquisitely rich. Three or four give me a jolt like a full cup of coffee and the taste is incredible!
We were looking for Land Rover Defenders to grey-market into the United States from Central America but I say these beans can make us a hell of a lot more money. I’ve been passing out free samples and now my brother, his wife, and both our parents are hooked, too. I feel like a crack dealer on a school playground with these things (minus the fear of impending arrest).
I’m calling the company in Costa Rica to see what it takes to become a distributor first thing in the morning.

Yeah, those things are wicked. Just be careful, it’s easy to eat too many and end up on an ultimately tragic caffiene rush.

My most addictive food would have to be cheddar flavored Goldfish. I just can’t stop eating those things. I once went through one of those huge boxes (a little more than 2 lbs.) in about a week and a half.

You’re telling me you had to go to Costa Rica to discover these things?

Hell I discovered them at my local coffee shop!

$12.00 per pound.

They are tasty.

Garlic flavored pistachios.

Astonishingly addictive.

I have eaten so many in the past six months, I have made a 5 foot chain out of the fortunes.

This is embarassing, but I need to get this off my chest: I love junk food.

And of all the junk-foody kinds of things I love, I think the most addictive is Doritos. I’ll eat those things to the point of pain.

The shame… :o

Actually, the most addictive food I know is sushi.

Though, to comment on sewalk’s discovery, I’ve had chocolate covered coffee beans, and liked 'em. Even though I hate coffee. One thing you can do with them, use them in cookies, instead of chocolate chips.

I can’t seem to get enough Turkish Delight.

In college I got ill after eating a whole can of fat-free Sour Cream N’ Onion Pringles in one sitting. They were that addictive.

Then go get your brother and sisters and meet me at my castle pronto, slave.

Methamphetibeans.

The local coffee dealer supplies them for me.

Buffalo wings! Sure they’re too hot to eat constantly without a break, but lord knows I want to!

And I’ll second the chocolate-covered coffee beans (Costa Rica??? My grandmother’s had them in her candy dish since I was a kid, and she ain’t never been to Costa Rica) and Pringles - any flavor.

Salsa. See this thread I started recently: http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=242352

With crispy chips and some fresh fruit and cheese to cool things down after a while… salsa is the perfect snack. And it keeps the pipes from getting clogged, too!

Yes, I do love them. An uncle of mine owns a store in Brooklyn that sells coffee beans, teas, spices, and various other goodies. A few years ago, he gave me a bag of these things, and I’ve been addicted every since. I carry a bag of them with me on motorcycle rides to keep me alert. If I eat enough of them it’s just like a cup of coffee, and I don’t even have to get off the bike.

There must already be a U.S. distributor – they’re pretty easily available, at least here in New York.

It has to be Marks and Spencer crinkle cut beetroot -now thats yummy!

Ive had two jars with my supper the other week (ah the joy)

It makes your poo poo a different colour too!

Now that what I call value for money!

Hi Blue Poop, how ya’ dooing?

Is the M&S beetroot the source for your username?

Really addictive to me is the Gren And Black’s Organic Caramel Chocolate bars, it takes real will power not to scoff the lot when I open one up.

There is a local restaurant here that sells them in a vending machine. Put in a quarter, turn the dial, get a handful of dark chocolate raspberry flavored coffee beans. Them’s some tasty beans.

I’ve always wanted to know what Turkish Delight is and how it tastes. Every time I read that book I get a craving for the stuff and I’ve never even seen what it looks like!

As for the coffee beans, a handful of Starbuck’s brand and I am buzzing on a sugar and caffeine overdose!
