I don’t know–maybe he was drunk or something. He followed me through a crowd of people to thank me for holding the elevator door open for him (
), and then, when I introduced myself, he says in this semi-sleazy voice, “My name’s Jeff Habay–I’m a politician.”
I mean, geez. “I’m a politician”? Maybe you had to be there, but it was kind of strange. FWIW, he was a very nice guy, though–just not my type. Small world, huh?
