Most expensive piece of clothing?

(sorry if part of this is a double post.)

The title pretty much says it all. What is the single most expensive piece of clothing you own/wear? FOr the purposes of this thread, clothing is shirts, pants, underwear, socks, jackets, hats, coats, mittens, skirts, shoes, dresses, suits (even though they are multiple pieces, they are usually bought together, so it counts as one item,) etc…

Things like watches and jewelry don’t count, there aren’t really clothing.

My most expensive piece of clothing is mt leather coat. It’s a long leather coat, liek a trench coat, but no belt (if you’ve ever seen Bufft the Vampire Slayer, it’s like Spike’s coat…I’m pretty sure his isn’t a trenchcoat.)

I think this is it.

It was a christmas gift from my parents a year ago. Apparantly, it’s ~$250 right now, though I think it was a little more when they bought it (maybe close to $300…I don’t think it was as high as the $400 price the webpage says it used to be.)

Not really all that expensive, really, when compared to severl thousand dollar suits and dresses. Eventually, though, I do plan on buying a tuzedo when (if) I get married, so that will probably be the most expensive piece of clothing I ever own.

Do Bridesmaid dresses count?

I have spent a couple hundred on those and I would rarely spend that on a dress that I really like.

At least 4 Worthless ugly over priced one time use Bridesmaid dresses in my closet…“But you can cut them off and wear them again.”

Like adjusting the length will transform that Fuchsia Abomination into a Carolina Herrera instantly. Sure.

My most expensive article of clothing is also my cheapest looking.
I have a suit I paid a hundred bucks for and it looks like it. :rolleyes:

My leather biker jacket. It was $400. But now I’m not as thin as I was so I don’t actually wear it anymore. Next is my boots.
