Multiplayer Games - let's get something going here!

Aura and I have been talking about getting a group on here together to play multiplayer games over the internet, like Starcraft. So, if anyone’s interested, I was thinking we should get something going, maybe find out who plays what, and so on.

Anyone interested?

Sounds like it could be a lot of fun! Unfortunately, I’m pretty partial to Half-Life (yeah, still)…

If any of you wanna meet me in a internet game of Diablo, lemme know.

Gypsy: Tom, I don’t get you.
Tom Servo: Nobody does. I’m the wind, baby.

Does anyone here play Everquest?

waits for Aura to show up at the mention of Everquest

And alas…don’t play too many multiplayer games. I’m a Civilization kinda chick.

I like Civilization myself. To a lesser extent things like Quake and Unreal and other games where I get witness my own death countless times.

Sometimes you feel like a coconut, sometime you feel like a yak.

I won’t mind playing Starcraft or Age of Empires multiplayer. But I’m pouty after I lose (which is quite often).

you MUST be doing it because you think it’s the right thing to do.”

Starcraft, Age of Empires, Age of Empires II, Disciples, Heroes of Might and Magic (2 or 3), Baldur’s Gate, and if there’s one I don’t know of let me in! My home network is suffering.

As for Starcraft, I play a mean Zerg!

Diplomacy.

OK, for those of you that play Starcraft, e-mail me at jonkleinow@macconnect.com and I’ll see if we can’t get some sort of competition going. Sound good?

Im looking forward to Diablo II, but right now i dont have much time for games :frowning:

Starcraft and Quake III, personally.

Alas, don’t really have time for online games of that nature anymore. (I do still MU* a lot, but that is how I keep in touch with friends really.) Also, I have a nasty tendancy to get to deep into such games, and really become the asshole when playing them. (Yes, even more so than I normally am. )

Do you play Civ II or III?..I just bought II, and damned if I can figure it out…waaaayyyy to complicated for this boy…I like Age of Empires myself…and AoEII

I have CivII, the Fantastic Worlds add-on, and Call to Power. Oh, and I just got CivII: Test of Time, which is the updated version. MUCH better graphics. And actually…I didn’t think CivII was too hard. Certainly a lot easier than Call to Power.

I like to play Age of Empires 2 alot, but unfortunately, my computer is currently down, so no more games for me :frowning:
But on the bright side, I never knew I could get this much work done, and still sleep!

I miss Meridian 64. Did anyone ever play that? I’d be down with some AOE II or Starcraft. I’ll be down for the next ten days while the puter is in the shop though. :frowning:

“Don’t bother to pack your bags, Or your map.
We won’t need them where we’re goin’,
We’re goin’ where the wind is blowin’.”

Democritus: Medidian was yet another thing the company I work for supported. Was pretty cool, since a bunch of us got free accounts and learned all the tricks and cheats. We weren’t to use them, of course… but we had to know them in order to help people.

Everquest… just say no to crack, folks.

As for what I play, I am death on a stick at Quake I, but my skills drop off on 2 and 3. I’m also getting good at UT. I also used to have a high rank on the Starcraft Battle-Net, but I got tired of playing against nothing but rush attacks, so I stopped. I have half life, but never tried it online, though I should now that I have DSL.

Duke Nukem 3D, that is, if the multiplayer part of the game actually works. :frowning:

I can’t believe no one here plays Tribes! The best MP game ever! Oh well…
