Sure. The (lawful) scum just need to get one person alive until the end. Thus, if they can prove Shadow as the most likely townie, they would be assured victory. So how would a scum go about it. The first step would be to a claim a townie as a townie. In order to confirm Shadow’s truthfulness that townie could be cursed that night. Still, the town probably needs more to fully believe Shadow. Thus the outing of Darth. If the scum are a mislynch away from winning, it is worth it to sacrifice a scum in order to cause a mislynch later. Remember, the outing of Darth happened before the scum knew Chucara was outed too (If you are being truthful.) Darth’s lackluster defense is another point in favor of this being a scum strategy.
As for has it happened like that I don’t quite remember. I’m not sure if anyone actually outed fellow scum. This game is actually pretty friendly towards false claims though. No third parties thay disrupt things and no fully confirmable roles.
Fair point. I lose track of what are inate abilities and what are item abilities. Of anyone, I’m sure you understand my leeriness of trusting detectives too much 
Anyways, I’m not in a hurry to lynch you. Let’s see if we can do the double lynch today, and take it from there.
