Secondly, the charter has no particular significance. It’s not a constitution or binding document of any description. Nor is it any sort of prayer, statement of aspirations or teaching aid. It’s been overtaken by events.

As others have pointed out, if it’s not significant, why are the amendments?
If it is significant, why are you ignoring that the founding of the PLO was genocidal and that there is still a culture of hate as evinced by polling?
