Music Lovers

I have read in the other threads about a lot of music I have never heard of. The authors of the posts make me want to hear some of the songs, but I am too lazy to go out and find a couple of samples myself. If I do find a song, it might be a relatively weak one which causes me to judge the band too quickly and unfairly.

So let’s share the work, shall we?

Let’s post links to song files that we are passionate about. I use this search engine (make sure you are under the audio tab). The thrill of the hunt will drive you to search through personal web blogs, I-exist-here-is-my-homepage webspaces, and even random sites from other countries in foreign languages. Then show us your trophy links so that we can enjoy the feast.

  • ATTENTION – PEOPLE WHO CLAIM TO BE OUT OF THE LOOP * Now you don’t have an excuse if all you have to do is make a few clicks of the mouse.

Looking through bands’ websites is another way to get song files. If someone else knows of a better search engine, please share…

It would be nice if we did:
*mp3 files only (I will join you in another thread that trades links to streaming files or other formats… radio stations possibly?)
*direct file links embedded in song text, (we do not have to go to any other website whatsoever, for maximum laziness)
*full songs only, no samples (if you want to show us a sample make another thread please)

I’ll start with some links from the “I’m sick of Pop” thread.

Hey bookbuster, I see you’re pretty new here, so let me give you some friendly advice. We take copyright laws pretty seriously around here, and linking to copyrighted material other than text is generally a pretty big no-no. You may want to email some of the moderators and ask them to remove your links.
