{{{Jkayla}}}, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
The loss of a loved one is a deep sadness and no words of mine can ease your pain. None-the-less, know that you and your loved ones are in my thoughts. Be at peace.
So sorry about the death of your dad. Alzheimer’s is a terrible thing.
Our condolences to you and your family.
My deep condolences. I lost my father suddenly about a month ago, I guess we are feeling some of the same things. Peace be with you.
My condolences to you & yours. We lost my grandfather to senile dementia this past November, so I can somewhat empathize, I think, with what you might be feeling.
If you ever need my e-mail, it’s in my profile - don’t hesitate.
i’m so sorry, jkayla. may his memory be eternal.
{{{JKayla}}}
My thoughts are with you, Ty, and your whole family right now. I can only imagine how hard it must be on you. If there’s anything that I can do from up here, let me know.
I’m sorry, JKayla.
I never know what else to say in these threads, but thoughts and prayers going your way. Losing a parent is hard.
The disease robs a person of their life and memory, but it cannot take away the love they have sown or the laughs they’ve shared in life.
Knowing what to do with yourself, (and more likely) your thoughts, now that he is at peace is the hardest part.
When you find peace during this time, savor it.
Sorry to hear about your dad. Take care.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, JKayla.
Hugs to you JKayla. I know the pain of grief can be brutal. Please remember that his pain and suffering is over. My prayers are with you and your family and additional strength to get you through this sad time.
This brings back memories of my dad’s death. Sad, so sad.
My sincerest condolences to you and yours, Jkayla.
Thanks to all of you, friends, acquaintances, and people-we-haven’t-met-yet, for your very kind thoughts & prayers. When I first met my F.i.L.-to-be, he was just starting to display behavior that might have been Alzheimers. I do regret that I never fully got to know him as his immediate family did.
However, I do see and know him through his influence on his daughter and the woman she became, the woman I fell in love with. I know that he taught her to always put herself in other people’s shoes and see things from their viewpoint. In other words, for her ever-caring heart, that attribute which I cherish most in her, I owe a large measure of thanks to this man.
God speed you to your rest, good man, and know that your greatest memorial and testament to your character is the legacy you left in your children.
Jkayla - email me if you need anything. I see you’re in NC- I live in Greenville (where ECU is). You’re a strong woman but there is one greater that you can lean on and He is always there to bring you and your family peace and joy.
You’re in my prayers.
Jkayla, I am so sorry for your loss. Your and Tygr’s
