My friend made a movie... and I'm in it!

If this is the wrong place for this type of post, mods, please move accordingly.

Over the past 2 years a good friend of mine has been shooting footage for a documentary. This fall the project was completed and the move was submitted to the Sundance Film festival. It made the first round, but not the final round, but he is still very proud of the project.

Oh yeah… I’m featured in it as well.

The movie is called, “Street of Cards” and is a documentary about the Abbott’s Magic Get-Together in Colon, MI. I’ve seen the final version of this film and for a first time film maker, it is very well done.

It is being promoted here:

If you look at the preview on the web site, I’m the blindfolded guy driving the car.

Congrats to all concerned. Has he submitted it to other festivals for consideration? If not, he definitely should…

He plans on it. There are a lot of film festivals out there that he is considering. My friends and I are going to be giving suggestions on which ones he should pursue next.

I can recommend the Brookyln International Film Festival - http://www.wbff.org/. I know the founders, so if you want me to put in a good word, let me know.

Good lord.

It’s named after the punctuation mark, not the part of human anatomy!

Seriously.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will pass it along.
