Asking someone to essentially dox themselves as proof is a total dick move for a long time poster such as superdude. If you have evidence of him pulling stunts like this for attention, please produce it.

Not everyone wants to dox themselves here and it’s not like there’s a whole lot some random people on the boards can do to help just because they read the story.
But, don’t forget, you’re certainly not required to believe him, but IMO, this isn’t the time or place to call someone out like that. I would think that you could pit him if you’re correct.
They may need a warrant to ping the phone (or get the records from the telco) but I assume there wouldn’t be an issue with the OP taking HIS phone to the police and saying ‘look, here’s the results I get when I locate her phone’.
OP, what if you go to a different PD. You could go to the PD where you told her to go when you talked to her and see if she ever turned up* or call the sheriff’s office.
*Who knows, maybe she made it there safely, and for some reason she’s still there (ie outstanding warrant, medical issue and was transported etc).

Totally agreed. That’s why I suggest physically going to the police and letting them see the phone.
I think the key to this is advice are the words “go to”. If it’s a true emergency, you can either do that or call 911.
I agree, I started to post that, but didn’t feel like listening to the ‘call non-emergeny’ backlash. However this IS an emergency and furthermore, even if it only means he ends up speaking to an officer again, his voice will be recorded and time stamped in the 911 dispatcher’s office.
Also, for people that are requesting he post the BOLO (I’m not even sure what that means, are BOLOs public or something he would even have?), if the PD he called regularly publishs a police blotter/calls for service/crime reports it’ll likely be shown there and if this goes on for more than a day or so the local/regional news outlets will probably post it on their websites.
I don’t have any advice, but I hope this turns out okay.
