I rather enjoy my current planet, where my wife makes most of our social arrangements. But she doesn’t insist I wear the ball gag and restraints while she does it.
My wife does, and I rather enjoy my planet as well
I do not have kids but I am going to take a stab in the dark on something here. When folks invite their kid’s friends to something like an amusement park primarily it is to give the child somethijng fun to do, but the secondary consideration is probably that it is understood that parents like some time away from their kids. So the dance isn’t whether or not to pay, but that you should recipricate the “chore” of minding and prioviding entertainment for the kids. To me that seems more like the social nicites that should be play here. Over time the monetary costs should even out if parents simply share in the responsibility of watching the children.
Mine prefers the French maid outfit. That’s fine by me; it chafes less.
I find it really amusing how people change their stories to prove a point.
And change their point to prove they’re right.
If it did nd_n8’s wife sounds like she’d enjoy wearing the jackboots.
You win! I like that better.
Actually, I think that’s more common both on boards and IRL, which allows for endless debates.
Both are pretty good, but your comment made me wonder how thorough of a poll she took of her entire social circle so as to be able to let us know that she was completely right. I wonder if hubby got a vote.
Dictatorships are notoriously not so hot on the voting thing.
Obviously the husband doesn’t get to vote. He’s either not allowed an opinion or has voluntarily relinquished rights out of his ignorance of how to act with class in her social circle. It’s not as bad as it sounds, thought, most of us in this thread would be completely lost in her social circle as well.
It’s an interesting question if she did poll her social circle about this. I suspect that may have been a less embarrassing option than polling this plebian group. Certainly has been an education, though.
