I logged on to check my email this morning and found 90 spam messages in my inbox. This is a little high, but not that unusual - I’ve had my email for 13 years and it’s been on a number of public sites, so even with ISP-based spam-filtering, the signal-to-noise ratio in my inbox is pathetic.
I deleted them, read the handful of real messages, switched over to a browser window, then flipped back to the email window (we use pine and server-based rather than downloading). 5-6 more messages, all “delivery status failure notification” or whatever. All addressed to a variety of bogus email addresses at a domain I’m the owner of.
While doing my nebulizer treatment, I apparently sent out another 20 or so messages, all of which failed.
While chatting with my spouse, I sent out (and bounced) another 10. I’ve sent/bounced five more while typing this posting. Something like 2 a minute this morning.
Who know I was so good at multitasking? :rolleyes:
