Since the middle of November, you guys have been going over to the LBBB and harassing us there. Sure, one or two of our people came over here first, but you guys should be grown up enough not to go over there to cause trouble. The reason why some things “mysteriously” disappeared over there is because they weren’t beneficial to the members of the LBBB. Obviously, each of you SEEM to know scripture. Please learn it. Learn the TRUE meaning of it. Just because you know scripture and can quote it doesn’t mean that you understand scripture. My brother can quote a couple of passages from scripture, and he has no understanding of what he quoted whatsoever. You are all acting like a bunch of 2 year olds by acting in this manner. My 1 year old nephew behaves better than you.

The rules of this BB DO allow for witnessing. We have all tried to witness to you, however, you have been blinded by Satan (Not the one that posts on this board! The REAL Satan). Many people don’t like to hear the truth. That’s just human nature. We also have a free will (that’s part of what makes us what we are). You have a free will to curse God, and as a result, you will go to hell. You also have a free will to accept Jesus Christ into your hearts as your personal Lord and Savior, and as a result, spend eternity with Him. I chose to follow Jesus. My life since then (5.5 years ago), while it hasn’t necessarily been easy, has been much better because of my decision. Jesus never said that it would be easy. He just said that it would be worth it.

I don’t care what you think of me. I don’t care if you judge me. Your judgement of me doesn’t mean a thing to me and it doesn’t matter. The one whose judgement DOES matter is Jesus’. He gave His life for me. Because of this, I give my life to Him to do as He wants. I am doing very well right now. I’m in college (half way through), going full time by the way, and still carrying a B average, and I work full time with people that I enjoy working with. They’re like family to me. I study my Bible faithfull, and Jesus helps me to learn what is being taught. I have an unknown number of Internet friends (too many to count) who help encourage me, and I encourage them. Most of these friends are Christians, and I can’t wait to meet them when we get to Heaven. It’s going to be a joyous reunion!

For those of you who choose not to follow Jesus, hell (after the Day of Judgement) will be a place of eternal torment. You will NOT see your friends or family. You may hear them, but you won’t see them. You will be in your own personal hell. You will remember all the people, like those of us on the LBBB who tried to witness to you, and you rejected it. You will remember all the fun times you had here on earth, and wish you were back here again. You will never know happiness for the rest of eternity. As I’ve stated before, there isn’t a single soul in hell right how. They are all in Hades, which isn’t even close to what hell is, and it’s still bad.

The choice is yours. God gave you that choice. You can either follow Jesus and spend eternity in Heaven, or you can turn your back on Jesus and spend eternity in hell. If you’re thinking that your going to choose Jesus on your death bed, think again. The way that violence is on the increase, you may be shot in the head and not have a chance. The time is NOW! Make the wise choice. Please.

Jesus is taking the Internet by storm! If there can be pornography, pedifiles, and God cursing sites, then there can be Christian sites, and there are many! One of the webrings that I run has about 500 sites, while some other webrings have nearly 2000! And, there are many who don’t even belong to webrings! Jesus is alive and well on the Internet!

One last thing, one of you said that everyone will be in Heaven. You’re right and you’re wrong. Yes, it is true that we will ALL be in Heaven, but according to Revelation 20:11-15, it is to be judged by God. If your name isn’t found written in the Book of Life, you will then be cast down into the Lake of Fire. Please read:

Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. Then deat and Hades were thrown into the lake of ire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

I, and the other members of the LBBB will be praying for your salvation. But, it’s your choice. Please make the right one.

A few posters went to your board and asked you some polite questions.

Is your faith so weak that you had to ban the posters and delete their posts? Can you not withstand any scrutiny at all?

We have banned none of you. Your posts will not be deleted.

This Board thrives on the spirit of inquiry. The concept is obviously completely alien to you.

Yes, we are all human. But, I have made a decision. I’m not perfect. I’m not infallible. I’m just FORGIVEN. Since all people sin and fall short of the glory of God (you know the scripture), we need to be forgiven of our sins. That’s what Jesus did. He came to earth as a baby (didn’t we just celebrate Christmas?) and he died on the cross, shedding His blood, as atonement for our sins. It is through His death that we are forgiven. We are not better than you. We are just forgiven. We made the right choice and decided to follow Him. The choice is yours. Choose wisely.

If you believed in and had and/or respect for your “jesus christ”, you wouldn’t subject him to contempt and ridicule by posting your fundie drivel all over these boards in order to annoy people with it.

Just because a handfull of people on the LBBB upset you by refuting your “claims” doesn’t qualify your actions. I was not included in what was going on over there, since I’ve been to busy with school, my website, and some webrings that I run. Yesterday was the first that I heard of this going on. I am one that allows people to say what they want to say, and then, if I disagree with them, I will kindly explain how I feel. After all, we are all entitled to our own opinions, right? Free will! God gave every human being that.

What Mike Bagnall meant (I think) by “We are under attack” was that people were going over there and causing trouble. I’ve read several of the posts that were made, and they weren’t polite. The LBBB is a place where Christians can come together and edify each other with different topics of interest. When someone comes in and starts baggering with topics that go completely against what the says, (and the Bible is the Inspired Word of God) some people get a little upset. When you start talking about evolution being the way man and animals came to be, you are going completely against Christian doctrine. Charles Darwin, himself, even refuted his own theory. I do believe in evolution in two manners. Within a species - i.e. the appendix - since we have no use for it, it’s slowly getting smaller as the years progress. Or with birds, who have different adaptations for eating various fruits, seeds, nectar, etc. The other form of evolution that I believe in is the evolution of the heart. When someone becomes a TRUE Christian, and asks Jesus into their heart and life as their personal Lord and Savior, their heart has evolved from one of hatred and strife (sound familiar) to one of love and compassion.

I openly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. I’m am a born-again, spirit-filled Pentecostal Christian who is on fire for Jesus. I rely on Him for everything that I do. I allow Him to lead me to what He wants me to do. That is the only way that our lives will be run right. Just because a handfull of people disagree with what you say, and this time, it happened to be Christians, you guys go bullistic. What if it was someone who was Muslim? Hindu? Wicca? You wouldn’t be bashing them like you’re doing to the Christians. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. People hate to hear the truth, and they will do anything in their power to put it down.

Victoria_Rose, et al, the problem here is not that y’all are witnessing, but that you are essentially spamming the entire “Great Debates” forum with messages that could be confined to one or two threads. There must be 10 or 15 threads all saying essentially the same thing–and mind you, I agree with parts of your message, just not with the way y’all are spreading it. Confine your remarks to one or two threads and I think you’ll be paid more attention to and hated less. God bless.

The story of Darwin recanting was promulgated by another of the “Christians of Nine Commandments,” Lady Hope, widow of Sir James Hope, in 1882. She made the story up and simply lied about it, having never seen Darwin at the time that he is supposed to have said it.

Vic - with all due respect, what I was involved in on the LBMB was, for the most part, a debate over the true meaning of various Scriptures.

Just because there is such a thing as evangelical correctness – just because there are a bunch of you who all agree with each other and see things the same way – doesn’t mean that the evangelically correct view of a certain passage is the true meaning. Neither of us has Jesus in our hip pocket saying, “this was what I meant here.”

The fact that our interpretations of Scripture disagree doesn’t bother me. You’re certainly welcome to yours; yours may even be right. But what I do object to is the certainty of you and other evangelically correct Christians that your interpretation is the right one, and all contradictory interpretations are wrong. That’s not Christian humility; that’s hubris.

Yeah, Christians have been SO oppressed throughout the ages. How the religion has survived all these years of constant persecution boggles the mind.

Its truly pathetic that you have to resort to putting your beliefs up against an imaginary opposition in order to feel superior in some
perverted way. In your mind, it’s you and your’s against the rest of the heathens. Sad.

Incidentally, many (if not most) of “our” posts have not been deleted from the LBMB. The last Creation vs. Evolution thread at http://www.leftbehind.com/cgi-bbs/Forum8/HTML/001499.html , for instance, still has all its posts from David B (“Daniel Schwarr”) and myself (“JoshuaTenForty”).

The truth, as always, is more complicated than that.
