Not one of their best, and a definite letdown after last week’s deliriously funny “My Name is Randy… My Name is Joy… My Name is Crabman” show, but there were some good lines. The TwoP reference, and Catalina and the strippers showing up for the wake, were my favorite bits.

Here is the thread at TwoP. If I’ve linked correctly, then at the top of the page should be a post by whojackie, which is apparently the character Josh’s handle. It looks like the My Name is Earl writers had been planning on this joke for a while, since **whojackie ** has been posting since 2005 (including one post about how he has a murphy bed and had scared of dying in it).

The Earl writers sure aren’t resting on their laurels. (They do have laurels, don’t they?)
The Cops episode, the My Name Is episode, the boys in Mexico retrieving Catalina, and now the Murphy bed/connected guy.
I’m awed. I know it’s only TV, but I’m still awed.

I’ve been following that thread all day and just got to the post where “Joy” posts from “Josh’s” computer (which Joy is keeping so the boys can look at porn when they turn 14) to announce that Josh is dead. “Crabman” posted under that username today, too.
Joy also asks us geeks if we know how she can play Ms. Pac Man on the computer and gives an email address: whojackie@gmail.com. Someone reportedly sent an email to that address and supposedly got a reply from Greg Garcia.
I don’t know how much cross-board talking we can do here, so I’ll leave it at that.

Greg Garcia and team must be having a field day, and the TWoP folks are just peeing all over themselves with “joy.” Apparently they set up the joke back in November with a guy posting about how his Murphy bed scared him. Bravo!
