Can’t wait - tonight’s the night! Earl, Randy, Joy, Darnell, Catalina, Patty the Daytime Whore and all of our favorite wacky Camden County characters return. According to our local newspaper’s TV listings, Earl sides with Joy in a dispute she has with Darnell, and an entertainment center doesn’t work out the way anyone expects.
Hope they avoid sophomore slump. I’m definitely looking forward to it…

I heard the Season 1 DVD set is quite good, so I’ll be picking it up today on my way home. I rarely but TV series, but every episode I remember is worth revisiting (and Greg Garcia, who made the best Emmy speech a few weeks ago, apparently has some equally good commentaries with cast & co.).
For the “Dad’s Car” episode, they have a commentary by Natalie Garcia, Mary Buckland, Carol Lee, and Debbie Suplee; the mothers of Greg, Marc, Jason, and Ethan.
There’s also an “alternative” pilot episode where the hospitalized Earl switchs channels from Carson Daly to an episode of Family Guy and decides to devote his life to following Stewie Griffin’s advice to seek vengeance on everyone who ever messed with him.

The DVDs are out? Sweet, I missed one show last season, I’m hoping I don’t miss any this one. I can’t wait for tonight, but for some reason I’m thinking the baby will be awake until 8:10.
