No more Crabman? No more Joy? And what’s to become of Mr. Turtle?

That was pretty much my reaction. Earl without Crabman & Joy just won’t be Earl.
They’d never do it; they’ll figure out some way to get them back.
And yowza, Jamie Pressley is limber.
Was there a previous episode that set this all up? Like Joy’s first experience on Estrada or Nada? If so, we must’ve missed it- we kept looking at each other, saying, “Do you remember any of this?”
I had already lost interest in Randy and Earl and only watch it out of habit and because I haven’t gotten around to removing it from my Tivo record list. I kept thinking what a better show it would be if they changed it to My Name Is Joy and got rid of Earl. Without Joy and Crabman there really is no point in watching. I liked the show when it first came on but it seemed to lose its luster pretty quickly.
This was pretty funny – I especially loved Joy saying the prayer in Hebrew.
Also the mailman recognizing Catalina’s box. Were those Chiquita Banana stickers on it?
The idea that the Camden post office throws all forwarded mail into a dumpster.
Yes, last week’s episode.
I agree; without Crabman & Joy, there is no show. I like Earl, but there is only so much Randy I can stand.
I think it’s safe to assume that Crabman and Joy are not gone forever.
I believe they were stamps.
I enjoyed this episode as well…especially the showdown with Estrada!
I too will be greatly disappointed if Joy and the Crabman are gone for good.
I did love how the Crabman and Randy got into an argument over what to call dogs with shrimp for legs.
Yes, this was the second of a two-parter.
I loved when Eric Estrada adjusted his toupee. Hee!
I know they’ll be back. Maybe the people who want to kill Darnell will get killed in some horribly fascinating way. We can only hope!
Bush’s goodbye speech last week caused some people to miss last week’s episode…but you can catch up on Hulu…
Last ep this season, we’ll see Joy & Crabman if not sooner.
MEANWHILE~ here’s my idea for an ep, based on my conviction that Jason & Ethan would be a great George & Lenny in OF MICE AND MEN. Next thing on the list - “Ruined a Community Theatre Production”. Timothy Stack directs. Kenny plays Curley. Cataline- Mrs. Curley (Mae).
Everything’s cool until actual performance night when Lenny is stroking Mae’s hair too roughly & the sparks between Randy & Catalina reignite. Let’s just say the ending is changed and everybody agrees it was the best Camden County Theatre production ever.
Who says Joy and Darnell are gone? We’ll probably see plenty of them in their new lives as the Rosensteins for the rest of the season. They’ll just not be in Camden County hanging out at the trailer park and Crab Shack. It’s still possible for Earl to narrate their activities as he seems to be omniscient about goings-on where he’s not involved. I’m sure that despite Joy and Darnell’s love and dedication to each other, there are still going to be adjustment pains and it would be too good of a situation to waste if they didn’t continue to be in every episode.
Besides,
Randy: Earl, I just noticed you didn’t say, “Goodbye.”
Earl: Maybe I’ll tell them next time.
Yeah, I agree with cochrane and Dewey: not a chance in hell Joy and Crabman are gone. Never even crossed my mind.
Fun episode. Slightly different style, but the quotables kept coming.
“All this complaining, and you guys are in a first class box; you Americans are so spoiled.”
Maybe a Joy & Crabman spinoff? Where they have to keep changing identities every few episodes? I’d watch that.
So which is it, Shrogs or Drimps?
This was the best episode in a while. I laughed more this ep than all season.
Let’s not do this again.
