“I didn’t wash the sheets after last night - I might not need you anyway!”
Can you say “the epitome of trailer trash?” I knew you could!

“Randy, you know where babies come from?”
“Yeah, the bottom of that fuzzy lightnin’ bolt.”
I was dying!
The actress playing Liberty had Jaime Pressley’s accent and mannerisms down cold. Even her facial expressions looked the same.
I liked the bizarro Crabman too.
“Sir? Ma’am? Your pockets are hot!”
Maybe they’re related too. Did they bond or what?
But he needs a sammich! I’ve seen him in other things and he wasn’t that skinny.
For some reason “The Klanimal” was hilarious. That was one of the better eps in a few weeks, even my wife was laughing.
Pretty good episode. The Alternate husband was the kid for “The New Guy” I think, DJ Qualls.
Funny episode, I liked the fact that Randy chickened out of the wrestling role in the end.
My rough remembering of my favorite exchange:
Legal Aide: “There is nothing easier than a pamphlet”
Crabman: “Well actually there could be either a brochure or leaflet”
Jim
That’s the one I came in to mention. Aw, and Crabman and Ray Ray* with their pets. Sweet.
Was Crabman using Scope on Mr. Turtle? :smack:
*My Dad was Ray, I’m Ray Ray and I really want a Ray Ray Ray!"
“Are you done with the gum stuck to the side of the TV?”
“The red one, yes. The green one, no.”
“Get to the back of the bus!”
Pretty funny stuff. Bizarro Crabman is always popping up somewhere.
He was on Lost, too, as Hugo’s friend.
I’m glad we got a moment of Catalina longing for Randy. For a while I thought they just forgot about it, which annoyed me.
I love Joy, and her interaction with Crabman (“I’m sorry, sometimes I just respond to yelling”), so this was a great ep for me.
I thought it was also funny that in one shot they pulled too far back from Jaime’s face in the wrestling outfit, and you could see her baby belly.
I love how they’re writing in the cover for Pressly being pregnant. Surrogate mom- perfect.
Randy always wanted to be a wrestling villian, but he never thought that people might actually boo him. I love that.
I thought Jamie Pressley said that babies on sitcoms were a last ditch effort to grab at ratings?
Still, I like the cleverness, and Joy realizing what was behind Liberty’s anger all these years.
Yeah, like last week when they had her in the background of one shot of Earl and didn’t attempt to hide her belly.
I thought the episode was funny. But I wasn’t convinced for a second that Joy had any compassion for Liberty. She’s never had any for anyone before. The feel good part last part of the episode just lost me.
I don’t know. She’s been shown as genuinely loving her children before and I think she loves Darnell too, in her own way. She’s anti-social but not completely incapable of compassion.
That’s probably why they set it up so that the baby goes bye-bye as soon as it arrives.
Funny episode, but I noticed young Joy & Liberty sounded quite intelligent when they were giving their presentation as kids. Then when Joy & Crab Man were in bed she noticed she knows more big words than she thought.
I wonder if they’re trying to “smarten up” her character. That’d be a shame. Next thing you know Randy will start appearing more intelligent.
Maybe the movie Idiocracy is making Hollywood nervous about negative portrayals of stupid people.
I think Joy is more ignorant than she is stupid. That woman is crafty, so she’s smart when it suits her. In the classroom debate, she may have studied extra hard just so Liberty wouldn’t show her up. She still wore a tube top to school though.
Randy, on the other hand, is just plain slow. He’s sweet, but dumb.
I hate to admit it, but I don’t get this. Could somebody explain this joke to my dumb ass?
