My Name Is Earl, 11/8

Oh another little tidbit… on the episode with Giovani Robisi, his character’s “theme music” was “Amos Moses” by Jerry Reed. Jerry Reed sang “Eastbound and Down” and played Snowman in the Bandit movies.

Not sure if it really means anything, but when Scott talked about Colonial Williamsburg, he said “She always wanted me to take her UP to Colonial Williamsburg.” - which gave me the impression that the show is set in Southern Virginia or NC, especially since Randy was on the bus to Hagerstown.

Probably doesn’t mean much, but I was kind of curious when I caught that.

E.

That was pure awesomeness.

Especially with Earl’s hyperpoliteness. I’m picturing the guy going in to work the next day and telling his coworkers about the cross-burning incident:

“I was all like, ‘We’re not moving!’ and he was all like, ‘We’re sorry, sir!’ Damn straight!”

Coworkers: “Sure, Bob. Uh-huh. Tell us about how he asked you for three-fitty.”

This just made me laugh…
