OK, ya got me there.
First of all, HR is utterly useless in most organizations and I don’t know why people on this board keep advising it.
Second, it is very common for the boss to not have as much expertise as his employees. What you don’t want is a boss who is such an arrogant moron that that he feels threatened by everything and has to constantly overcompensate.
Here is a crazy idea for the OP. Why don’t you schedule some time with your boss and have a conversation with him about what a jackass he is being (don’t use that term though)? Just quitting everytime your boss is a jerk is a bit extreme.
