Actually, most are well deserved. But yes, some are bogus, which means they grate for years.
For example, in my case I used a joke that has been used over and over on this board, in fact recently right here in ATMB. “appropriate user name”. Just yesterday a poster made the same (bad) joke about Really Not All That Bright (whom has been the target of that joke so many times I am sure she is tired of it). Now sure, when you use that (bad) joke about someone with such a user name it can be interpreted as a insult. But it’s such a common meme here I never thought in a million years I was crossing any sort of line.
A Note would have been reasonable. A warning? Out of the blue? For such a common board meme?
Who would that have been? :o
And you get to see that bullshit warning every time you’re in your user cp!
I actually have mine collapsed so I don’t see them, but just for yuks I uncollapsed and reviewed. More than half are pure butthurt.
