It’s probably a way of sneaking her e-mail address into her profile. Some dating sites don’t allow personally identifiable information to be posted in public profiles and I strongly would bet that’s what she’s trying to do here.
You might be right. I never thought about it until you pointed it out. In thinking about it her ad is so generic it almost sounds like a craigslist escort ad.
The problem with my earlier post is that, in my experience, dating sites tends to run people’s profiles by real people before allowing the information to go live. If said profile has anything against the rules, like personally identifiable information, they get rejected or just edited.
The quoted section of the profile (didn’t read the PDF) looks way too damn obvious to ever get by anyone. If that particular place actually screens profiles, they may just hope everyone abides by their rules for fear of The Man. Or something.
