Hell, I’d let you!
jjimm, yojimbo:
Anyhoo, I have two secret shames:
I think that the Monty Python team were over-rated and that the true kings of subversive comedy were the Goodies.
I also prefer the Monkees to the Beatles.
Once, I had a secret shame
That lived within the heart of me.
All too soon, my secret shame
Became impatient to be free.
Now I shout it, from the highest hills;
Even told the golden daffodils.
At last, my heart’s an open door,
And my secret shame’s no secret anymore!
I like Malcolm in the Middle more than the Simpsons.
And I think Reese is cute.
I have seen 89 Dave Matthews shows.
I personally own Jim Steinman’s album, Bad for Good where he sings his own stuff.
It’s pretty bad.
Well, to the OP, I own the JT Cd and I love O-town, I have been to about 3 O-town Concerts so far.
I know all the words to the following plays RENT,You’re a good m Charlie Brown, and Tic Tic Boom (Big Jonathan Larson fan).
I drink Half&Half straight from the carton.
I bought myself 2 *Nsync and 1 O-town dvd.
I havent gotten past level 3 on Super Mario and I’ve been playing for as long as nintendo has existed. I also happen to love and still have the original barbie video game.
I feel better.
I’ve totally enjoyed lurking many of the threads here but this is the one that made me register, so that I can now reveal that I liked (and still do), “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion, who otherwise makes me want to puke.
Perhaps I got caught up in the whole Titanic thing, which may also be somewhat Secret Shame-worthy. I’ll be right there when Jim Cameron finally releases the super duper mammouth ten disc mega-special edition Titanic dvd.
This has been very therapeutic.
Neopets
My bf bought a tape of the one and only album by Craig Mclachlan and Check 1-2 at a car boot sale (he was in an Australian soap opera, it was the fashion for such people to have musical careers once) and on it there was a song that went “Rock the rock, roll the roll, something something and heal my soul”
And I enjoyed it!
I’m so ashamed…
I watch Charmed* every morning. They’re the old episodes and some I’ve already seen, but I watch it anyway. As much as I dislike Shannon, I’m disappointed they chose to replace her with Rose. But I still watch it. And I was horribly disappointed when my work shift changed because I can’t watch the new episodes on Sunday nights anymore.
I dislike CSI: Miami. I think the story lines are crap, I think the characters (and most the actors who play them) are crap, and I just don’t like it at all. I do, however, LOVE the original CSI and watch it as often as possible.
Heh, start with an italics tag, close with a bolding tag. I’m a genius, honest.
I thought of another one though.
I actually like Mary-Kate and Ashley. I know, I’ll lose friends this way, but I didn’t mind “Two of a Kind” or their most recent show (that I can’t seem to remember the name of). I don’t watch either of them much, because of my schedule, but I used to. And I like Lizzie McGuire, too.
Thank God, I’m not alone.
infectious lass, it’s ok…
i have a secret yearning for mr mclachlan.
it’s that neighbours plaid shirt twinned with the british secret agent thing (he was in bugs).
and i’m v. drunk. so this counts as confession under duress!
I dislike Seinfeld, love Blue’s Clue’s and went to the cinema to see Spice World - had to go on my own because no-one I knew at the time would go with me.
But my most shameful confession - I would rather watch Attack of the Killer Tomato’s than Citizen Kane.
I’m with you. But what really gets me weird looks is that I think Willow is hotter than Buffy. And I get really weird looks when I insist that includes Season 1 Willow (aka “the softer side of Sears”).
And that’s why “this one time, at band camp” is the funniest line in American Pie.
And not really secret, but:
I sing Karaoke. Regularly. And I like it.
I really enjoyed ‘Pearl Harbor’ and thought it was going to be a hugely successful movie.
I, too, like Buffy. In fact, I like it so much that I have a scarf I knit last winter while watching the reruns on FX. This scarf is two feet wide and seven feet long. I don’t knit very fast.
I want to order the uncensored Blind Date video.
I thought The Santa Claus 2 was not an entirely terrible movie.
Watching the Rolling Stones on HBO last week I had the irrepressible urge to lick Keith Richards’s torso.
I joined the * Bros * fanclub and still have thosy shiny folders with nice glossy pics of matt and luke.
I still have a brand new never written in Paul Orndorff notebook because I wanted to save it. I’m not exactly sure why, I think I didnt want to ruin the cover.
oh heck, while im at it… I still have my tigerbeat issues from the 80’s.
