Took my final at 12:30 today (that took all of about 45 minutes)…have one more thing to do tomorrow, so all I have to do for the rest of May is show up and work in the reference department when I’m scheduled!
A month of lounging by the pool - time to start on those Book Swap books!
Yaaaay! Another semester closer to making the big bucks. 
How’d that paper go? Did you get it done early?
Big bucks? I’m going to be a librarian. I don’t think we make big bucks. If I’d wanted that, I’d have stayed in auditing and been miserable. 
The paper got done. That’s about all I can say for it, but I can at least say that. It was turned in around 9AM Tuesday, so 15 hours before it had to be in. Not really early…but so what?
Lsura: since you don’t sound to busy you should come be a lab monkey!

CRorex, if it was in Knoxville and it paid, sure. Unfortunately, I don’t think either of those apply. Never mind that I haven’t touched anything remotely scientific since I took Genetics sophomore year in college (ummm…fall of 92 or spring of 93).

End of semester party? I’m there!! I just finished my last final 2 hours ago…The bottle of Jim Beam black is only half gone. I wish I had more ice…maybe something to mix it with? Alas, poor college students don’t get those luxuries.
I took my last final today, meaning I’ve officially survived my first year of doctoral study.
Now I have to prepare the pre-show lectures I’m giving at the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival…but that’ll be fun. I have to come up with fifteen minutes’ worth of interesting remarks on Macbeth, geared toward a general audience – I’m sure I can manage that.

I’ll be here in two weeks. Sigh… Starting the school year late seemed like such a good idea in September…
It’s that time already? You mean it’s already been a year since my last final? Man, I feel old. How’d I get so old so fast? That’s the only thing I don’t miss about college (I had to take finals three times a year because of that silly quarter system). Oh well, good job on finishing, and good luck to those that still have a few long nights ahead!

I just took my very last final at 2:15 and it was brutal…2 1/2 hours of short answer and essay…and I was the poor schmuck who thought it would be a fluff class. It figures that my most difficult final would be my last.
Oh well, graduation is tomorrow. I’ll finally get my 4 year sheepskin and it only took 9 years.

I just finished my last final 7 hours ago, and I haven’t done much besides play online and watch TV.
If only the weather would improve, all would be right with the world.
Ugh…I handed in papers this past Wednesday and Thursday. I have one final each this coming Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, along with two papers, one of which is due Tuesday, the other I can maybe get away with handing in on Wednesday; gotta check.
(I’m not sure whether papers that come in after the 12:30 deadline that marks the end of the time period alloted for a final exam will be marked late, or we can just hand them in anytime Wednesday. If the former, I’ll hand the thing in on Tuesday, as I’m not coming in earlier than I have to.)
Then I’ll get 20 hours of observation toward my 100 hour requirement done at my old high school, and I’ll inquire about whether it’d be possible for me to sign on as a sub for a month over the summer. I’ll be taking summer classes second session, Og help me.
So yeah, next Wednesday night, I’ll be up for an end-of-finals party.
Sorry, dude…I’ve been partying now. You’re too slow.
But, on a related note, my group project for last semester won the best technical project award. Woohoo! Not bad for a group of folks all in their first semester, eh? (No, there’s no money associated with this, but we got a lovely certificate.)
sigh Ain’t that always the way. Are you planning on halting the party by next Wednesday night? 
Oh, and fyi, I’m female (not sure whether “dude” was being used in a gender-specific sorta way, so I thought I’d throw that in. Gotta inform the masses and all that.).
