My sister died yesterday, relatively unexpectedly

I’ve lost both parents, but never a sibling. It is different.

She was a young 64, stricken by a pulmonary embolism.

Just last week she was telling me where she wants to move to spend her golden years.

I’m sorry for your loss.

I’m so sorry. What a shock.

I’m so sorry. I send you my most sincere condolences.

sorry mustard

I’m very sorry.

Sorry. All the best to you and your family.

I’m so sorry for your loss.

I am sorry Mr Mustard. That sucks. How are you coping?

I’m sorry, how horrible.

I am so sorry for your loss.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Wishing you peace and strength as you deal with this.

Mr Mustard, I’m so sorry for your loss, it’s too sad… losing a parent is difficult, but is in the natural order of things. Losing a sibling prematurely is so very hard. Take care of yourself.
My condolences to your family.

Oh, no! I’m so sorry for your loss.

I am sorry to hear your news. Sending supporting thoughts your way.

How sad. You said she was a “young 64”. That’s a nice compliment. If you’d care to share more about her, please do.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost a younger brother who was only 45. It’s really tough to lose a sibling. Just know that your family, your sister and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

How sad that this happened so suddenly. :frowning: If you think it would be helpful to you, please tell us more about her.

Thanks, everyone. I"ve seen plenty of these threads, participated in some. I’m finding that it really does help.

I am coping OK. I’m mostly worried about her husband, who is an alcoholic (sober the past 15 years). Now he suddenly lives alone.

My condolences on your family’s loss.
