My advise as a lawyer (not legal advise) disconnect from the investigation as much as possible save for what is necessary by law or for updates. It’s going to be a such a rollercoaster ride which will compound the problems you are already facing.
Of course there is absolutely nothing I can do for you, save read your posts.
Would you post a link to one of those news stories? I don’t wish to offend or case you pain, but I would like to know more.
My apologies if that request is offensive.
Your request is certainly not offensive, but at this point I am not willing to link to a story. It would not only out me (which I don’t care about), but all my family. Maybe later, and if so, probably after an arrest, and probably in the Pit.
Quite frankly, there is no more information than what I’ve posted in this thread. It’s not a Nancy Grace type murder. It’s the murder of a 52-year-old drug addict who kept bad company, and was my sister.
Should my story be doubted, I’m willing to send links of the stories and my sister’s obituary to a mod or admin.
I understand if you do not wish to post links, Frank, and I certainly do not doubt your story. I’ll admit that I’m curious, but I will look forward to your Pit thread in due time. In the meantime, you and your family continue to be in my thoughts. Be well and take care.
Frank, please accept my condolences for you and your family.
I hope there is some kind of progress in her case that may provide some closure.
I really liked your description of you, your sisters in 3-part harmony singing. This is a fantastic memory to share. And I loved the baseball story too.
I was in charge of putting together a memorial slide show when my older brother died last year. He had been in declining health for 10 years & unable to do most of the things he had probably envisioned doing in his retirement. I guess it’s safe to say that my brother was not a very happy person in his final years.
Working on his memorial was a strong reminder that my brother was much more than a sad end. He was a sleeping infant, a laughing child, an adventurous boy, a handsome young soldier, & a playful dad.
You have beautiful memories of your sister. I know you won’t forget them.
