My Uncle died of heart failure this afternoon, and my friend just died from COVID tonight

I appreciate your feelings. My regards and hope you heal. Time is both our friend and enemy.

Also sorry for your losses. I found losses and other stressors also complicated this year by the inability of extended family and friend circles to physically be there for each other. A hug. A touch. These comfort in ways a Zoom service and phone calls cannot. We cannot help with those things but know that we are thinking of you.

My deepest condolences. It sounds like you were mentally preparing for you uncle’s passing. About your friend, I understand how sudden death is so bewildering and gut wrenching. {{{hugs}}}

This is a very hard part. Not sure what is going to happen, where or when. Not sure if I should go when I know. I will attend my Uncles, but really not sure about my friend’s. In both cases, I hope we put off the gathering until summer.

Winter & COVID is a bad combination for grieving together and celebrating the life they lived.
