My Very First MMP

I overdid it last night with friends. Luckily, I don’t seem to be suffering too many negative physical consequences. Remorse over whatever subjects I babbled and blathered on about last night while under the influence of several random kinds of beer that were poured into my glass, however…

Well, I should do the laundry, send a Facebook message, and rake the leaves today. It’s unseasonably warm, so maybe I can wear my jacket instead of my winter coat.

I am cleaning aquariums today.
Our first marine fish, a pajama cardinal is alive and well after twenty one hours in the tank.

AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!! That thing is creepy! Dang! That would skeer a clown!

Bears are scared of fish now? :stuck_out_tongue:

swampy, what’s really creepy about cardinal fish is when you have a whole school of them. They don’t so much swim as hang still in the water… We don’t have any. We don’t want any. Too creepy!!!

Back from miscellaneous erranding - auto parts store, Lowe’s, Michael’s, and Staples. Shortly, I will begin cutting out stencils. Good times!!

Oh my goodness. I don’t believe how fucking stupid I am. I just put a load of laundry in to the machine and started it without soap. When it was halfway done, I stopped the machine, dumped soap in, and restarted it. I just hope that this was the right thing to do and that nothing bad will come of it. :’(

Worst is that it won’t rinse - can you just run a rinse cycle?

I don’t know. I have half a mind to just wait until it’s finished and then run the whole thing again with soap.

Salmon the world over rejoice!

This is the way I did laundry while I was in Grad School.

I’ve got a ton of laundry to do on Tuesday. I’ve been running behind with it and now is time to play catchup.
Poor Sah-son is going to be busy busy busy with it.
Everything that can be is going to be bleached as well.

I do not feel like irking today but I need to. I missed 3 days pay for the ear infection and 3 days pay for the heart attack. Actually I am okay financially losing that except I will be filing and paying my taxes in January and I don’t want to dip into my house fund. I have no idea how much my portion of the hospital bills will be.
I have 2 ambulance rides, one from my house to the local hospital and one transfer to UofM. Three overnights at the local hospital and one overnight at UofM. Emergency room, all the tests, fluids, meds, pills, pokes, sticks, draws, hookups, monitors, it was a mess.
At least three of four of my prescriptions will only cost $4 a month. The hospital pharmacy was supposed to give me 3 months worth but didn’t, which is fine for the three that will be cheaper elsewhere, but Plavix is going to be way more expensive unless I am willing to run down to the UofM for the refills ($7/month). Of course driving all the way there, finding a place to park, paying for the parking may not make it worth it.
One month of pills only cost me $30 though, so that is very affordable.

I think there should be a rule that nurses shouldn’t wear perfume. And people in the recovery room should have to turn off the ringers to their cell phones.
Also, its not nice to ask a female - in a hospital tent that reaches the floor, who is attached to a pole by an IV in her left arm and has another IV in her right hand, and has a box dangling from wires hanging from stickies attached her chest - to pee in a cup.

Sari it would not be nice to ask anyone, male or female, to pee in a cup under those circumstances. Also, I agree about hospitals and perfume. Just shouldn’t do that.

Been a nice lazy day here at da cave. Windows are open cause it’s so pleasant out. 74 Amurrkin as I post. My big productivity so far has been makin’ up some meatballs for sketties and meatballs later. Since I already had skettie sauce in da freezer that part was easy. A sallit and some garlic bread will make for a nice dindin.

Yep, excitatement to the max down heah!

IRK I don’t wanna. Tonight is the last one for a few, just tired and beat down. IOW I haz a Blurf.

{{{{{}}}}}}, yeahs. boos, doggie ear scritches and woots where needed.

Happy Caturday all.

Jim

I just finished hemming and pressing 10 towels so I’ve got 14 to stencil. I’m not big on Christmas themed stuff, but I’m going to make my Amish buggy towels with a reindeer instead of a horse. And I’m going to make a “wreath” with little crabs in a ring. Maybe a big crab with holly in his claws?? Later. Now, I need a break.

Nuttin’ says Crimmus like a buncha pinchy crabs in a circle, I say!

“Jingle crabs, jingle crabs, jingle alll the waaay”

Maybe I should go to bed…

“Crabbells ring, are you listening…”

Sketties 'n meatballs, sallit and cheesey garlic bread has been consumed. YUM!

I have closed the windows. Thus endeth another excitatin’ day at da cave.

I worked. The crazy coupon lady stopped by. Beer and hockey time.

That’s what Santa got from the ho ho ho! Coal? I’m getting a First Class ticket to the next handbasket in my stocking.

Captn, Gordie says thanks for the skritch.

Sari ,hope it gets better.

my cat just walks all over me. Like just now she walked across my shoulder blades to get to her pillow on my desk.

Rosie quit bein’ in the way of where Smokey needs to walk then. :stuck_out_tongue:

The almost horror of it all! I just remembered I needed to take steaks out of da freezer to thaw so they can be marinated because Monday is men’s night over to the church house. The only thing worse would be forgettin’ to buy beer!
