That’s just flat out rude. I think we should collectively plan to sneak into his house when he is sleeping and inject them both with a healthy amount of tranquilizer. Nothing lethal, just enough to render them both permanently ineffective. Let’s see him fight his OWN battles now!

This, of course, coming from one whose top Brute uses a bear and a puppydog. But still…

My best Brute, level 5, has the following combo:

Vitality (lots of hit points)
Armor (to protect those hit points from being lost easily)
Impact (to knock weapons away that could threaten those hit points)
Iron Mace (does lots of damage)

This is a great combo of stuff.

Damn it all. White Duke just lost to another player with armor, a shield, and the Untouchable trait. Talk about defense. The hits I landed didn’t do enough damage, and I couldn’t hit him enough times to put him away, thanks to his Untouchable trait.

I have grown to like each of my little people. Some I like because they kick ass, others I like because they keep trying even though they really should go work at Subway instead of being Brutes. Too bad I can’t take them all out for frozen yogurt since they try so hard to entertain me.

I understand the technical aspects of it, I just don’t know if I find it fun. Not being able to control the outcome, and how the people who have been playing longer than me are hopelessly ahead what with their 2.8 million or whatever pupils.

That makes sense. I find it fun for now. I watch sports but can’t control the outcome. I don’t worry about what other people do with pupils and whatnot. I like watching my guys in the arena against opponents of the same level. If other players gain levels more quickly with pupils, that’s fine. It doesn’t affect my guys.

I find it a nice little simple break. YMMV, obviously.

Actually, I think the thing I dislike most is that my character SUCKS lol - I have almost maxed out strength, but no weapon, and poor other stats, and lose almost every battle I get into. Off to use my other remaining battles today…

Make multiple Brutes. I have 14 of 'em. I take a break now and then and play a few rounds here and there throughout the day. Some are pretty good and some suck. I like watching the good ones and I play the bad ones hoping they get good with the next level. I put the good ones in tournaments and watch their tourney fights later on.

2 buttons. Command (or Control, for those poor saps in PC land) + ‘D’.

I have my Brutes listed according to strength, BCS style. Impressive performances will move you up the board, while getting the shipoopie kicked out of you because you waited until the LAST FRIGGIN ROUND to pull your weapon will get you tanked (and possibly removed entirely).

Yes, I am aware what an incredible loser this makes me. In my defense, I am stuck in India without a whole hell of a lot to do.

How do you keep up with that many?! (read: remember all those character names and deal with logging in 14 or more times a day?)

Each one has a bookmarked cell in a designated “My Brute” bookmark folder and a memorized password in my web browser.

I just click on my bookmarks and click on the name of the brute to open the cell. I click on the “enter password” link, and my browser automatically puts the password right in there for me.

I can fight any of my Brutes in the arena in a couple of clicks in a matter of seconds.

How the hell can a level 1 player have a dog and a sword? Are we going to form a clan? Does anyone know how a brute’s attributes are assigned?
