One of my Brutes did that up until level 4 or 5, which was a damn pain. He had the sledgehammer, but he also had a knife, and he was apparently a fan of the small sharp thingy, and also losing. I think I went 2-7 over three days.
Then he got the net. Now he’s quite fun. Quite fun indeed.

Gah! Missed the edit. Got a very nice fight in a tournament, and it shows the downside of the sledgehammer quite well.
My Brutes did not reset their 3 fights this afternoon. I played them this morning and they normally reset at about 4 or 5 pm Pacific.
Same problem here.

OK, I officially hate the whip.
My guy has a thoroughly inept understanding of how to use the net. As I view it, the net is best used to pin down an animal or to pin down the opponent and then demolish him with my strongest weapon (which will hopefully be a sledgehammer at some point).
Unfortunately, I have yet to see the net used in any way other than pin down the opponent and then throw a star. Stars are nice, but a total waste in conjunction with the net. If you want to fight a somewhat stupid guy, go beat up on my brute, Mullinator.
I…uh…googled epic mybrute battles just for S&Gs, and this one achieved just that. Enjoy!
Obviously they’re playing, but I was curious so I looked the brutes up. Waide is level 11 and fairly normal, if a bit short on weapons. Fotum, on the other hand, is level 43 and has an utterly insane 930 hp. I hadn’t seen over 250 before.
That wasn’t very epic, in my opinion.
One of them couldn’t land a hit to save their life, literally, because the other one smashed her to death. Even if it took quite a few hits, for thousands upon thousands of damage per hit.
Epic to me, would be any number of fights I’ve had where both brutes either toss all their weapons away or otherwise become completely disarmed and they’re just punching each other, hoping not to falter and let the opponent get two hits in a row.
Those are the epic mybrute battles.
That was epic, as in…epically funny. Over the top epically funny. Embellished with sfx from Supernintendo games funny. Hammering each other for tens of thousands of damage, yet found the time to toss a bomb or two at each other for 17-19 points funny. Throwing a spear away to steal the other’s spear funny. Sabotaging each other’s arsenal funny. Tap, tap…Hello, is this thing on?
Ok, so “epic” was the wrong word here. It was entertaining though.
You’d like my brute, then. I went one-for-three in battles yesterday. Did not manage a single hit with the club, my best weapon. In the last fight, he used no weapons at all!
Okay, entertaining is a more accurate description. The bomb was really disappointing. As soon as I saw it start to fly through the air I could not wait to see how much damage it was going to do. Then it hit and the numbers came up and I felt robbed.
It’s only epic if both brutes become completely disarmed and end up just wailing on each other. Otherwise, it’s just sad. 
I cry less if I think of it as “semi-epic”.
Spurious Georgeis now level 5 and needs a master, as well as more opponents to decimate - he’s like 17-4! He loves his broadsword.
I find it very sad how my two brutes differ so much.

BloodNGoore, however, kicks ass! Mostly just with his stick which he uses like a real pro! I like him
