I find them very useful - for one, a competing brute may unleash a super-duper killer attack, and blast - one of the puppies instead of my brute. 
How does one get the cool stuff? The most exotic things I have so far are a femur and a flail.

Want mine (with as little of sexual innuendo as possible >_< )? That damn thing allowed 4ul3 to beat one of my characters today because 4ul3 would dodge it just when the critical hits needed to be made.
I sung it’s praises in the first few pages of this thread, but usually it had done well for me. Not anymore. I hate when my brutes pull it out. If you’re going to whip out your extra large phallic symbol, shouldn’t you actually, you know, smack someone with it? Don’t just wave it around! Use it!

You can have my club when you pry it from my cold, dead hands. It’s the only thing I’ve got that can do any real damage. If I can get in two good shots with the club, I usually win, if I don’t, I lose. At my last level up, I got a knife, which I think makes it even less likely to use a different weapon. I went one-out-of-three yesterday because Sweetums would just never whip out the club.
Don’t knock the knife. Saved my arse here. 
My guy is creatively enough Miltonyz. Level 7 with 48 victories. I wouldn’t think so based on my stats but my guys pretty tough since hitting level 6 I rarely lose a fight. Got busted for 130+ damage by some chick with a mace though that hurt.

If GangRelated’s endurance went up by two per level, he’d be in the 200s. He has actually lost HP. He got Vitality early to put him in the 120s. He got all the way up to the 140s before losing a chunk to go down to the 130s, where he is and has been for a while now.
