again, we didn’t share role PMs. Gad sent me a PM with my role and TexCat’s filled out.

in the previous game, did all masons have to look for each other?

Ok, I seemed to get the impression you shared role pm’s.

Yes, all masons had to try to find eachother. This worked by when player X would submit player Y as a night action target, if player X was a mason and player Y was also a mason, then they found eachother and gained 24 hour chat. In the other game there was 3 groups of masons.

Group A had 3 members, all villagers

Group B had 3 members, 2 villagers and 1 wolf

Group C had 2 members, but when they found eachother the two of them gained extra powers. One player became a seer and the other became an angel.
Also this is very important, in gadarene’s pm’s to you about your newly formed masonry, did gadarene say that texcat was a villager, or was that information left out?

My take on the proceedings
At some point prior to post 1700 Scuba Ben claims SilverJan is town, and Idle claims Dance cat is town. Neither claim to have investigated the person they received information about.

starting in the 1700 when the claims started.
SilverJan claims Gnarlycharlie is wolf.

Bufftabby is all over SilverJan questioning the dual target, the possible mod action over PM reveals.
BlasterMaster is on the offensive, his key point being SilverJans magic bag type reveal. Dancecat in post 1751 also questions SilverJan along with Zerial. Gad resolves the dual target question in 1737

Then in 1759 BlasterMaster votes for SilverJan, Idle, DanceCat and later Septimus suggest BMs vote on a claimed seer (as they assume a claimed seer, not that SJ claimed seer) is not a good strategy.

What is a little jarring in Post 1746 and 1765 Texcat goes fishing for anyone else who targeted GnarlyCharly, Bufftabby shut it down twice.
BlasterMaster by 1806 unvotes SilverJan.

somewhere up to post 1774 we have Lilflower, Idle Brewha NAF, DrainBead, Giraffe and septimus all joining in on the lynch. Lightfoot in 1797 analyses Gnarlys posts concluding he was not posting much of substance.

Then Texcat claims GC is a Mason. Through a convoluted series of questions and answers wherein Texcat eventually reveals they are also a mason, they can communicate with each other 24/7 off board and exchanged PMs. Weeds pops in and says they know that Texcat is a MAson (but didnt target Texcat). in Post 2018 CrackedQuads steps in a provides a helpful summary for Texcat as to how it all went down.

After that there wasn’t a whole lot of discussion from the claimants, but an awful lot of multiple cop , insane cop discussions.

Other points of Note, it seams in post 2016 Pizza claimed to have targeted Lilflower on night0 and Lilflower was still alive. If I understood his claim way back that he targeted Malahoth on night one and Mal turned up shot and poisoned the next day. Pizza stated the poisioner was a delayed action (something he surely cant know unless he really did target Malahoth on night zero) and and seamed to be back peddling from his assumed Vig role.

Anyway.
I am very suspicious of Texcat, mostly because of the role fishing for who else investigated GnarlyCharly.
CrackedQuads for Providing a nice summary for Texcat following a somewhat convoluted series of revealing how the mason mechanism worked. That would be quitehelpful for scum who may not actually be able to talk 24/7 and would help GnarlyCharlie get centered when he turned up.

As others have mentioned, this vote is really about what lynch get us the most information.
as far as I can see if Gnarly is lynched and flips scum, that gives us Texcat possibly Weeds. So 3 dead scum. It doesn’t confirm SilverJan as she claims the information came from elsewhere.
If Gnarly flips town and mason, that confirms Texcat, doesn’t do much for Weeds, and oddly doesn’t say much about SilverJan as she claims the information came from elsewhere.

Weeds and SilverJan could be lying about where they got their information, to distract from a scum kill on themselves.

Lynching Texcat confirms GnarlyCharlie as scume or mason.
Lynching SilverJan really doesn’t do much.

WIFOP - not sure but WIFOM is wine in front of me. Basically when presented with two cups of wine by someone , one of which is poisoned , the other is good, which one do you pick. Did the other guy poison the wine in front of him, hoping you would pick it. Basically a choice where there is no way of knowing which one is the right one.

I did more than post a link, I explained each role in detail, explained that the Dethy setup is the most common multiple cop setup, is by far the most common 5-cop setup, and will be quite illuminating if gnarly flips townie and especially if one of the 4 “innocents” flips scum.

If people bury or forget this stuff and it turns out to be true, I am going to come through the computer screen across the interwebs and eat you all, whether I am dead or not.

I’m torn on Texcat. There is a report that she’s town but it smells funky. Dancecat and Blaster Master seem a bit out of left field. They both have drawn fire in the past and these claims show up the day after one got quite a few votes and on the day the other picked some up. The report on Silver Jan showed up earliest and first which makes me want to trust it as it’s not a response to anything, it came unbidden. On the other hand, it could have been a plant to stir the pot. However, Gnarly’s flip would give us further insight into Silver Jan’s alignment. We can sit here and talk until the thread is 13 pages long and it won’t matter. Eventually we have to lynch someone and a good chunk of people are going to think it’s the wrong lynch. You, yourself, who can’t seem to hold onto an opinion for more than 2 posts will immediately shift your case if any one person seems to be the general consensus, especially if you were the firebrand that started that consensus in the first place. The Day is over in less than 24 hours. We need answers and I see Gnarlycharlie as a good place to get them. So, gnarly, jan, texcat, blaster master, dancecat.

But there is like no original content there. You summarized the day’s post without having to provide anything new yourself, good job. You did manage to throw dirt at me and texcat, who is like double peeked villager and in a masonry with someone else (which also is village points for him because masonry’s are either all villagers or occasionally there’s a rare wolf thrown in).

I’ve played several mish mashes on a much bigger board and never heard this dethy stuff reference before. Gad also often plays on that board. I don’t know how many other forums gad plays on but there’s a non-zero chance the gad has never even heard of this dethy stuff either (unless it’s mentioned here often). There’s little reason to expect this game is modeled after dethy, and in fact the previous game only had true seers, so I don’t see much value in exploring it anymore.

If you’re scum she’s either bussing or getting accurate results. If you’re town she’s either lying or getting inaccurate results. Right now she’s doing one in four things. Your death will bring it to 1 of two.

Do not lynch texcat. He’s like 97.43% cleared villager.

Gnarly is also considerably clear, I’d say 85%. Someone else peeking him wolf is worthy of concern, but there very well may be non-true seers in this game.

What I posted was a result of trawling through the last few hundred posts specifically looking at the claims that have been made and who was doing what. With the volume of posts and random noise chasing down other lines of enquiry seams rather pointless right now.

I did not advocate a gnarly lynch. I did not vote for him. I said he is least likely to be a villager of the claimed villagers, but all of them are likely to be villagers.

And given the information gnarly has also just provided himself, I’ll reverse my position on him being last in the cleared line and put him in 2nd.

Your vote also created distance between the 2nd vote wagon who was in danger of tying it up. That alone looks like your wolf buddies told you in wolf chat to jump in the thread and cast a vote for krayz.

You’ve since gone on to make a bunch of low value, no content posts which at best summarize what’s going on itt without actually giving any opinions yourself.

When I ask you the first time to contribute, you eventually show up with a giant wall of text which again summarized the day’s events and provides little original content of your own to which the village can analyze.

When directly asked to provide any sort of read on 3 random players, you can’t do that and refuse.

So you’re the threads worst villager (okay, second worst, peeker is still alive, right?) or you’re a wolf who is refusing to give us anything at all to work with once we lynch you.
