I have read the thread now, but I didn’t notice any burning questions for me. Some people asked if I was fake-peeking: No, I’m not. I don’t think there is anything more I can usefully say about the message I got.

Lynching outside the claim: there are really only the two mason claims. Everyone else is just passing on information they don’t know how they got, of unknown reliability.

There was a theory yesterday that Krays was an alternate lynch to a wolf. The other lynches were Peeker, Texcat, and Silver Jan. Assuming Texcat is a mason, that leaves Peeker and Silver Jan. I have vague-ish suspicions of Jan. I don’t have anything on peeker. I think it would be bad to lynch a mason today. For these reasons, I am leaving my vote on Jan.

I thought the case on Ben was good, but I don’t think he would have cleared Jan like that if he was scum with her, and peeker’s was the wagon he was jumping on and off. So I am thinking ‘indecisive Townie’ for him now.

I don’t at all like the votes on the claimed masons, especially ones that say it will give us information to lynch one or other of them. (PCM, I’m looking at you in particular). But there was a lot of confusion today. Lots of people totally failing to understand what was going on. That makes it hard to analyse who is genuinely confused, who is pretending to be confused and who isn’t confused but has a different way of thinking to me. I’ll look more at this tomorrow.

Jesus Christ. We have a person who got a Scum result now voting for someone other than the person they said was Scum. This is a fucking trainwreck and a half.

Has ANYONE in the thread gotten a message about the role or alignment of any player that hasn’t already been mentioned? If so, out with it–if there are six results floating out there, it might get rid of the Dethy theory.

The main drawback I can see to lynching Jan (and yes, I do realize I am voting for her at the moment) is that she might not be a cop at all, but might still be Town.

My fear about this game is that none of the cops get their own results. So we may have multiple cops, some reliable and some unreliable, and all of their results end up broadcast to random targets. The amount of unfiltered noise there is unbelievable. I wouldn’t even begin to have an idea of how to sort through it all.

I do find Tex and gnarly to be pretty believable, because it seems highly likely that gnarly targeted Tex last Night, and the Mason handshake is a Night action (like in the Sekham games). If you don’t have an idea of what your role does, it might be worth targeting one of the two of them toNight, to see if you might be a Mason.

So here’s my theory. We lynch SilverJan. If she turns up Town and not a paranoid or insane Cop, anyone who targeted gnarlycharlie last Night should self-target toNight. I say this because if you targeted gnarlycharlie last Night, you could be a crazy broadcasting Cop of some type. If you target yourself, and you investigate back as Scum (to you or to someone else), now you know it.

It might be worth it for anyone who targeted gnarlycharlie last Night to come out now…do we think the Scum would take a shot at a possible Insane or Paranoid Cop, given all the other targets? What do you guys think of this idea?

as i said earlier i find it improbable that Jan would accuse me of being scum if she were scum. it’s just too easy to verify. that said your theory could be correct about her or she was the target of some broadcasting scum. that would make town lynch me and her two straight Days leaving town saying WTF.

i also mentioned earlier that my PM said i felt safe. so it’s possible a doc/angel targeted me last night.

I just now got back. I haven’t been able to catch up from post 1501 on, due to day job and very very tired. I feared I’d be checking in and resigning myself to being lynched.

Instead I find I’m now 3rd, with Silver Jan first.

I wish to repeat the message I received overNight: I was informed that Silver Jan is a Villager.

If Jan flips Wolf then either I am lying about my message or my message is lying to me. There’s more information to be gained by lynching me – should I flip Town (and I will) it demonstrates that I am accurately reporting my message AND strongly indicates that Idle accurately reported HIS message about Dancecat.

I need to review the case on gnarlycharlie, buried somewhere in the last 10 pages. For now, I prefer to see GC hang than Jan, because I consider Jan confirmed Town.

I definitely got the information that gnarly is a wolf and as I am not allowed to post the actual PM this is what I thought. At first I was curious as to why my 2nd target got a result but as I pondered further I came to think that someone else must have targeted gnarly and I got their night action instead of whomever sent the action out. I have just re read my PM and **Gnarly **IS a wolf, whether I am a seer or not I have no idea but I didn’t kill anyone either as far as I know.

How do I manage to get myself into messes like this? Yes, it’s a rhetorical question.

Jan got an investigation result on him.
I got an investigation result on Jan.

Did ANYBODY get an investigation result on THEIR OWN target? (Don’t answer that Today!)

And crazy stuff is, Jan seems to be the vote leader at present!

Let me throw out an idea: Lynch me. I flip Town, validating my information that Jan is a Villager. This in turn validates Jan’s information that gnarlycharlie is a Wolf. Then we can lynch gnarlycharlie Tomorrow, and spend the rest of the Day comparing notes on who targeted whom and got results on whom. What do you all think?
