NETA: Duh, I wrote that post forgetting that scum don’t know their roles either. So any discussion of BM’s “strategy” in sending me that message is moot.
I would assume (as Pizzaguy put forth) that there’s more than one different type of cop…because if everything we’ve heard, so far, is to be believed, there were at least two roles out there that gave out false info (**Blaster’**s and whoever’s Jan’s result came from (saying **gnarly **is a wolf))(If Jan just didn’t make it up herself).
Assuming the first is the case, that means there’s still a role out there that can redirect possible false results.
At the time of my vote there were 8 or 9 on ** BlaM ** 3 or 4 players with 3 votes each. 3 players with 2.
I chose the one I felt was scummiest **(the wagonner’s position belongs to me not) ** but thanks for asking.
You’ve soft cleared ** charlie ** and he had the same vote timing if not a bit more controversial
Not at the moment but tomorrow maybe. After all the talk yesterday why on earth would “I” try and out a scum that is a semi confirmed Town??? Especially after we found out that scum could pass on there alignment in a message. It’s beyond belief and I am outraged with the vote. I don’t believe he has even read everything!
So I will now calm down and read the rest of the thread. I am going to miss Peeker even if the rest of you don’t
[non-game-related] I’m a she, fyi [/non-game-related]
Eesh, I was wrong wrong wrong But I really didn’t find BlasterMaster scummy. I liked the case (s?)he made about Scuba_Ben and I didn’t want to vote for someone I found townie. The bandwagon on BlaM was going pretty much unchallenged which I thought proved even more that he wasn’t a wolf. The only other person who had even a vote or two was Inner so I thought that was the best place to put a vote to save someone I thought was town.
So yeah, I tried to save a wolf and lynch a town cop:smack: My brilliance has overwhelmed me today.
Oh, and since BlaM was the one leading the case against Scuba_Ben, that means my main suspect is probably town too. Really, everyone should just look at who I find scummy and treat them as confirmed town from now on. :o
In, trying to catch up. How would the wolves haved “picked up” guri’s gun? Only thing that really makes sense is the wolves killed him so they got his gun, thus that’s the reason why they got a night kill and a night vig last night. There’s also the chance that all of that is simply flavor (color?).
I really don’t like that texcat and gnarly were spared their lives last night. If they really are both village masons the wolves should have turbo killed them off. It doesn’t make any sense to let the peeked village masons live while instead they kill off another messaged peek (dancecat). Dancecat’s “peek” wasn’t as strong as texcats and texcat/gnarly’s masonry makes them infinitely more valuable to the village than dancecat by himself was…
It looks like IS was probably killed because it becomes obvious that he’s a villager once a bunch of people pile on him at eod right before a wolf dies as lead wagon, but it also sort of exposes the people on that late wagon as potential wolves.
I will just defend myself against this part - it was like half an hour before end of day when I voted and the bandwagon against BlasterMaster was massive - if I was a wolf I’d have just voted for BlaM for town cred.
Trackers should probably start considering outing what information they have. It probably could have helped sort out the confusion yesterday if we knew who targeted who at all. Don’t know if it’s exactly +EV to do it today, but within the next few days the amount of information they may have should be really valuable.
Well, I don’t know if you’ve stated what you think your power is (or if you have any idea - don’t out it if you haven’t) but I think “no result” means your power didn’t work, and if you were roleblocked I think you would have also gotten a message. It’s likely your power worked but it’s something that won’t give you a result (for instance if you were a seer you would have gotten a result). IE you theoretically could be a doctor, roleblocker, redirector, randomizer, propagandist, town crier, lightning rod, etc. You not getting a result only means you can probably eliminate your chances of being a very small subset of roles, but with so many roles that affect other actions out there, even eliminating any possibilities is still hard to do.
I think I can help you in what your role might be, then.
Again, my type of play is to give any info I can, as I know it, so sorry if anyone thinks this might be a bad move–but I think it might be relevant to the fact if you’re one who thinks Silver Jan might be scum, too.
My message toDay said that I was blocked from performing my Night action. So unless someone else targeted me or my action was blocked away by some other means, somehow,** I think that gives strong signs that Jan might be some kind of roleblocker.**
Guiri is a village vig. Guiri is killed night one. Two villagers died n1, guiri and silman. Silman had 4 posts all day and isn’t from this board, he is very unlikely to have been the wolves night kill target on night 1, which makes it more likely that guiri was the night kill target.
When guiri is killed, and if his gun is “pickupable” after he dies, the only mechanic that makes sense to me is that the person(s) who killed him would get the gun.
The most likely scenario is that guiri was the n1 wolf kill, the wolves got his gun, and the wolves used that gun on another villager on n2 on Inner Stickler.
If a villager has this gun then they should just use it on themselves, there’s like .4% chance that inner stickler was actually a wolf after people pile on his wagon right before a wolf dies as the lead wagon.
